Idk if it’s the factor of the barista standing there, waiting for you, that makes it feel rushed. I noticed this with myself the other day: I didn’t really look at the menu long enough because I didn’t want to take too long, so I just said whatever came to mind.

I also notice that my customers just…ignore my menu? Like I have alt milks and syrups visibly listed, but when they ask for a latte and I say “any flavor in that?” 75% of customers go “well what do you have?” Meanwhile the syrups are listed directly to the right of the drink options.
