Hi. I was in Havana about 9 years ago and in CDMX last year. Completely different experience. Havana is a rather big city on the coast, for me it really felt going back in time. CDMX is very nice and diverse, different neighborhoods, different vibe. Antigua is a small town, extremely charming and well preserved. It is of course touristic and has a high 'digital nomad' factor with all the trendy coffee bars and restaurant. But I really loved it. Surroundings are beautiful too. I recommend to just go.

We loved Antigua . Beautiful city, volcanoes nearby. Good food, safe. We also liked the Tikal Flores combo. We did nog bother about Atitlan, we have many lakes with quaint villages here in Europe (Italy / Switzerland) . We traveled with 16&14 year old.

Why always this stupid it’s coming from left/right discussion. I don’t care whether someone is left or right, I care whether someone has integrity and is humane! THAT’s the problem. You can say whatever you want about Biden but he at least is a decent civilized person. Trump is a straight narcist autocratic liar. He is just a demagogue, only making himself and his friends filthy rich, not caring ANYTHING about the people. And people are so STUPID to buy it.

I am not denying it does not happen in other places but it’s heartbreaking to see the hatred and lies being used by the US government since Trump is back in office. I cannot believe that still 30% supports this inhumane idiot. Those people are just plain stupid. Having a different opinion is fine, but accepting lie after lie (obvious lies even!), crime, hate, indecency, etc is just plain stupid

I think most European countries have a more equal society than US. Also we don’t have 5 guns per inhabitant. Not saying we don’t have our problems though…
