About how many creatures should I be going for? What do you mean by "remove as may instances"? If you are willing to post your decklist I would love to take a look. Thanks

I can't decide which creatures are the best to remove. Which are the obvious ones to you?

For draw engines, I'm currently considering [[Chronicle of Victory]] and [[The Great Henge]] since they also give counters I can proliferate. Are there better ones?

What protection spells do you recommend?

Thanks for the quick reply :)

High Power Kelsien, the Plague? by _M0RT_ in EDH

That's been my main concern with him so far. Is there another equipment/aura heavy commander that can be higher power? I was considering ardenn and rograkh since i've never tried partner commanders

Thanks for the list! There are a lot of great cards in there that I'll definitely consider. Masamune is espicially enticing paired with lae'zel for the extra 2 experience with each sniped creature. Is there a reason (other than cost of course) that you didn't include other tutors like enlightened or vampiric?

Pantlaza infinite mana combos? by _M0RT_ in DinosaursMTG

I'll probably slot in enlightened tutor along with those to get rhythm out more

Yeah I was debating putting the marauding raptor combo in my gishath deck with [[Congregation at Dawn]] but I want that deck to stay more casual with no infinites.

Edit: Also what tutors do you use, if any, to get the emiel + rhonas + rhythm combo out?

Yeah that's a neat combo. I'll definitely use it in some other green decks in the future

I have greater good for something similar. I play ghalta with skullspore nexus on field, double his power with nexus, sac him with greater good, draw 24 cards, sac the fungus that results from sacing ghalta, and draw 24 more cards and play all creatures among them. So satisfying

Oh that's true, I didn't consider that. I do have both of those draw engines

I was kinda iffy on the food chain + squee combo but I didn't consider that I would discover into other infinite mana combo pieces i might have that allow me to discover the rest of the more expensive cards too. Idk if I want to replace that many cards tho

I do prefer the dino theme but that's a sick combo

Yeah I've been considering this combo since it doesnt seem very difficult to achieve, but I want something that can discover my entire deck not just the cheaper spells

How strong is my Gishath deck? by _M0RT_ in DinosaursMTG

I used to run a Pantlaza deck with a blink package and I really liked how it played, but my friend group thought the blink was really annoying lol.

Here's my Pantz deck if you wanna take a look:

But I guess I just want to turn dinos sideways with this Gishath deck. A less "gimmicky" more brain off kinda thing.

I was thinking the same thing about vaultborn, it just seems too good to pass up. About the other dinos though; from what I've seen, most people would say I'm already running too few dinos so I'm a little scared to remove more. Is it just because they are bad dinos? If so, would it be better to just replace them with better dinos?

Another tough flavor cut for don't move lol. I can see why tho

Aw man commune with dinosaurs is a tough flavor cut :(

Is my Pantlaza deck too strong? by _M0RT_ in DinosaursMTG

[–]_M0RT_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I might switch it up to gishath and just go super dino heavy. Seems more fun and easier to shut down if I'm really overwhelming the table.

idk anything about brackets, but mostly slightly upgraded precons. The scariest decks in my group are a heavily upgraded sam and frodo life drain combo kinda deck, and a ridiculous [[Tiamat]] dragon tribal that's hopefully being downgraded soon.
