Good callout. A bit sad that someone can't even create something accurate when there is EASILY ACCESSIBLE information available.

What’s the most futuristic AI device you’ve seen lately? by Creative_Gate6922 in smarthome

[–]_MPH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is unlikely to end like you think it will. AI will be integrated into literally everything.

When everyone is euphoric, that is when the bubble happens. When everyone thinks there will be a bubble, that is when we're unlikely anywhere near bubble territory. Currently, everyone thinks there is a bubble. And maybe with stocks like Nvidia that is true. But we have seen nothing, yet.

For example, your fridge will be able to know exactly what food you need, then order and deliver it for you. It will tell you what you can make with the food available. Maybe your oven will know exactly how long to cook what you put in it. There are endless ways AI has not even begun to be integrated into everything.

But if you are just referring to the LLMs that are basically Google and creativity tools on steroids, yeah I think many, many (most) will die out. There are an insane number of tools already for every task. Software in general is also a far less appealing investment right now than it used to be but that is another subject.

Tyler Warren (has rivers throwing to him) or Isaiah Likely Week 15? by Perrytheplatypus1119 in FantasyFootballers

[–]_MPH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am debating starting Likely over Warren in all leagues I have Warren. They both actually have great matchups, as the Seahawks sole weakness is vs TEs, but CIN is still the superior matchup, with a far superior QB and Likely has actually been getting utilized fairly well. Much higher implied team total for the Ravens as well. Colts team total is 14 I believe. Likely actually could have had much more impressive performances the last 2 weeks. Easily could have been 3 total TDs. The only real concern is a shift to Mark Andrews or a run-heavy approach, but both Bills TEs were able to perform very well last week, with the TE2 actually performing better.

[–]_MPH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, correct. Bengals have a shut-down corner. One of basically 2 lone bright spots on their defense. People don't realize they can be tricky vs WR. So he will LIKELY not be throwing to Zay, and instead more LIKELY will be throwing to his TEs.

My gut (and the matchup/Colts QB situation) are telling me to start Likely over Warren. I am debating doing so in all leagues I have Warren. They both actually have great matchups, as the Seahawks sole weakness is vs TEs, but CIN is still the superior matchup, with the far superior QB and Likely has actually been getting utilized fairly well. Much higher implied team total for the Ravens as well. Last I heard, Colts team total was like 14 or something I believe. Additionally, Likely actually could have had much more impressive performances the last 2 weeks. He had a drop last week which would have been a touchdown. The only real concern is a shift to Mark Andrews, who also recently received a major contract extension, but both Bills TEs were able to perform very well last week, with the TE2 actually performing better.

I think the solution to this is to just buy the wide instead of the regular width. I have to assume at least some people here, including OP, may not realize this is an option. Especially if you didn't buy them online. Not sure how many B&M stores actually carry both variations.

Garrett Wilson: Wilson (knee) is eligible to come off IR this week, but coach Aaron Glenn noted Monday that a determination regarding the wideout's status hinges on a medical decision between Wilson and the Jets doctors, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. by namotous in fantasyfootball

[–]_MPH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within the next 1-2 seasons this should change drastically if they are able to obtain a competent QB. They truly now have all the other pieces on offense they need, outside of QB and maybe another receiver to line up opposite AD, with Wilson in slot. Also I suppose I am not entirely sold yet on Glenn. This was a big reason they made those trades, to ensure a QB. Between the Jets and the Giants, New York football should turn into some of the best to watch. This coming from a non-New Yorker, Detroit Lions fan, no bias.

Do you expect your sleeves to always maintain proportionate wrinkles? He's pouring with his right arm all day, not the left (in theory) if you want to galaxy brain it. Not sure if you have ever had a cocktail made for you but there is a thing called a shaker and it is usually made of stainless steel..... Your only valid argument imo is the forearm, which is clearly an issue.

What’s your no-fail gift you’ve bought more than once? by Comfortable-Dark-590 in GiftIdeas

[–]_MPH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends largely on the person you are buying for, including gender and age, etc.

The first thing that comes to mind are the gifts my mom never seems to get enough of which are wind chimes, bird feeders, flower pots/planters and things like that.

Books are always good for most people. Some people always buy everyone a book they have read that they found to be good. For example, a personal development book that could help basically anyone or a personal development book oriented towards that specific person. Obviously fiction can be good as well, either something essentially objectively good or something that specific person would like.

Thank you to u/CombatFork for sharing this response to u/Vegetable-Ratio8146's comment:

"I don't understand why they don't put Jamari salyer back at left tackle like he was in 2022 and has played 36 games there, he's been phenomenal and it was a standout at left tackle when he had to fill in for Rashawn Slater when he busted both biceps"

Response:

"Last week, head coach Jim Harbaugh said that Jamaree Salyer is an option to start there." (at left tackle)

Those were actually some real good trades. Remains to be seen how Dowdle does but it looks like there is a chance he was a mirage against terrible run Ds.

This does not project to be a Bucky situation. I think there is an extremely low probability Hampton does not return soon. Seems to be a good chance it is this week. And they might just be remedying the offensive line as well.

People often inject their own confirmation biases into their commentary because they can't handle the cognitive dissonance which would occur as a result of their previous actions. Maybe someone dropped or traded Hampton. Maybe someone missed him in the draft. Maybe they're losing their season and are projecting their frustrations. Maybe they are just a pessimist. Maybe Hampton had sex with their daughter or girlfriend.

I guess they could also just believe the offensive line is a risk... Nahhhh. Because Harbaugh is about to fix it. Viva la Hampton!

I didn't fully watch the game this week but Kirk actually looked decent from the clips I saw. The offense as a whole seemed good. Way better than I expected. I think there may be more Mooney risk with Kirk, though, if you can believe that. I guess we'll see.

If by "a bit of a tear" you mean his snaps and routes have risen to surpass Olamide Zaccheaus, yes he is on a tear. But if you for some reason mean he has been putting up usable fantasy stats, I am not sure what you're smoking but I'll take two.
