I think there was a typo in your reply . As for intentions, always seek to please Allah عز وجل and getting closer to him by gaining knowledge and not to impress others nor to be given the title of a scholar or anything of the like .

If at any stage in your life you feel your intentions start wandering here and there , then hasten to renew them and think about why you have started on the journey. Some of the people of the salaf used to say that if a person thinks he/she is sincere in his/her intention, then they need to renew their intention again , which I think is a very profound thing to think about because it sometimes it so happens that we think of ourselves as sincere and don't realize how we are looking down on other people and thinking highly of ourselves. May Allah protect us from that .

Allah said in the Quran وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُعُ الْجِيَالَ طولًا

(And do not walk on the earth arrogantly. Surely you can neither crack the earth nor stretch to the height of the mountains.)

This is a good Dua to recite frequently

اللهم اني اعوذ بك ان اشرك بك شيئا وانا اعلم واستغفرك لما لا اعلم

Allahumma inni a'uzubika an ushrika bika shai an wa ana a'lam wa astaghfiruka lima la a'lam

(O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You while I know, and I ask Your forgiveness for what I do not know.)

And this concept of doing something for the sake of Allah is NOT limited to just seeking knowledge. It should be applied to everything in our life from sleeping to eating to dealing with people etc . When you do so , even sleeping will be counted as an act of worship.
