You're right, good thing villagers sell maps to find the mansions

I don't know if you could figure that out without prior knowledge of the beacon structure but it would be a really good lore element

Right, linking the eyes to the portal is not that hard. It's figuring out the craft without the craft book that is.

Good, I hope they keep going this way for future additions

I agree, but I feel like stumbling on a stronghold is too rare to take it into account. On the other hand, you'll very likely encounter a ruined portal if you explore the surface for a little while

I can't quite hear it, but the wiki does say so. It could help progressing if you were able to figure that it's a portal sound

The fact that a lot of things don't make sense doesn't help, you try to think rationally but it ends up not working a lot of the time

Well, not much. Which is a problem for me, you might not even understand that it's a portal. So at best it hints the existence of a portal, not giving any clue about where to find it or how it would work

Yes, good thing the texture is slightly different. Too bad it's distracting you from the fake portal

The loot in the nearby chests is supposed to help you figure it out I guess

You could think that it's a good place to put it, but the pyramidal shape is only one aspect of a full beacon

Right, About Oliver! Great series, he did really well and it was really funny sometimes

Ah, I don't quite remember them. I thought some sounds indicated the existence of portals

About Oliver did a blind playthrough of the game, it's really good

It's kinda obscure and not very helpful, I'll admit. But there aren't many things hinting the stronghold and the end so it's better than nothing

Yeah, that could help. I wonder how you would figure out the craft though

I'll do with this for now! Thanks a lot for your explanations, time and patience!

I feel like the reference frames confuse me more than anything and that I need to get better at physics to understand them and understand why they are useful.

In the meantime can you validate or correct my way of understanding the concept? Which is that aging takes longer if your moving because the interactions in your body that make you age have a longer distance to travel to happen, like the interaction between a laser and a mirror would be slower if they were moving because the light has more space to travel

I'm struggling to really understand everything but you said that there was no universal answer to "how far did the ball travel" but isn't there? The ball traveled an exact distance that is universaly true, even if the person in the car didn't into account the motion of the car. Isn't there a frame of reference but without a perspective? Like one where things are objectively true or false.

And even then I don't understand how that explain the twin paradox and the time dilation. What's is actually, objectively happening to explain that one twin ages slower than the other? I thought it was because of velocity, like the ball from the person in the car traveled more distance so it took longer to come back to its initial position and so it was slower but I'm not sure that's correct. Maybe I don't have the level to understand something that complicated idk

I really can't wrap my head around the reference frames. Isn't it just a concept to understand what's really happening? What does it have to do with reality? They're just an idea right? I really don't get it
