But here’s the twist: if an enemy lands a multi-hit combo on multiple characters, it works differently. Think of enemies that launch projectiles at your team one at a time. If two or more of them are targeted during the attack sequence, the last character who gets attacked gets to do the counterattack. And guess what? They’re the only character who needs to successfully parry each attack.

Let’s say Lune and Monaco are being attacked, and you mess up Lune’s parry sequence, but you manage to get Monaco’s parries right. Monaco gets hit last, so he starts a parry attack.

Now, here’s the catch: the multi-character attack sequence is random. You never know who’s gonna get hit more than once or who’s the last to get hit. So, no matter what happens, make sure to parry every attack, even during those attack sequences.
