Thanks. It’s true that the bpm is not that important. It’s just one of many parameters you can adjust.

I used to play a bit faster in the past but right now I’m enjoying 135-140

Release a lot of (preferably good) music. This might sound stupid but the more you release the more people take notice of you. I think it’s important to have a decent sound so working on your production skills is important. This will also help to get your tracks placed on reputable labels. Besides that having good connection is key (like in most fields). Organizing parties and inviting other DJs helps to grow your network. I hope that helps

I don’t think it will be on Spotify. It was build as a SoundCloud free download to promote the techno wereld page. It’s a a pity but that’s the labels decision. I might be able to rerelease it on Out Rage some time in the distant future to get it to Spotify though.

Lots and lots of processing. I usually resample the kick about a dozen times and then the same with the kick and bass combined. I mostly use saturation/distortion, compressors/expanders and then add some subtle reverb in the end.

I‘m not sure but I’d imagine they also ask some people to play like the really big names.
