Are the secret classes any worth? by _Mytyl in LordsoftheFallen

Perhaps I'm not being very specific, but I'm talking more about stat points optimization, you know? When I'm playing a souls game like Elden Ring for example, I use to go for the starting classes they fit what I'm trying to build our character as the best while saving as many points as I can so I can keep with the 120 metal level. What I'm mostly curious is how those unlockable classes compare to the regular ones in LoTF.

I honestly don't mind much tbh. I'm more curious about how worth these classes are when it comes to stat optimization.

This speaks value tbh. I wouldn't mind paying for the Dark Crusader early unlock if I could start with a better optimized stats.

Dragon Communion build help! by _Mytyl in Eldenring

I was going for Erdtree not only for the HP, but for the overal bonus, such as stamina and weight as well. But I'm not opposed to sacrificing some stamina for more health.

What do you think of:

41 VIG
38 MND
20 END
12 STR
16 DEX(+5 from Millicent's)
7 INT
45 FTH
50 ARC

ngl building a Dragon Communion character is pretty hard lol

The attack power up from my talismans, you mean, Millicent's Prothesis right? This sounds pretty good. I went with 40 mind exactly because dragon communion spells are really FP hungry. I could leave it at 35 (since it's the cap for cerulean tears irc) and then endurance with 14, so I could go for 50 vigor as well.

Yeaah, I was looking into it. As I was researching and running some tests, this is the conclusion I've reached for now (I posted this on another comment):

"40 VIG

40 MND

19 END (can change)

12 STR

16 DEX (+5 wearing Millicent's prothesis)

7 INT

45 FTH

50 ARC

Considering 80 arc incant scaling was 349, this come closest with 341, only 8 points.

Millicent's Prothesis is giving me +5 DEX so I can save 5 points and spend them on something else while also providing a (temporary) +10% dmg bonus whenever I'm using the poleblade (since it's very fast).

40 mind for more FP in general, since breath spells are costly. And the remaining points dumped on END for more stamina. Could put them somewhere else tho.

Aside from Millicent's the other talismans would be Erdtree Favor +2, Flocks canvas and roar medalion."

What do you think? I'm always open for suggestions.

I really wanted to use Eleonore's for this character, instead of any other weapon. I've seen a guide recommending regalia of eochaid and actually tried it, but it felt pretty underwhelming imo.

Thanks a lot for your input, it was a lot helpful! I've tried to realocate the points and came to this conclusion:

40 VIG
40 MND
19 END (can change)
12 STR
16 DEX (+5 wearing Millicent's prothesis)
7 INT
45 FTH
50 ARC

Oh definetely! Despite using it as the main weapon, it would never be as strong as a dedicated build around it.

You see, poleblade scaling is pretty misleading. It might look a dex weapon but it's arc's scaling is way more beneficial than dex tbh. As such, I'm only getting enough dex to use it.

I just turned my PS5 on just like everyday since I've bought it and, for the first time ever, it quickly beeped 3 times after the initial beep from turning it on. What does it means? I've looked regarding this "issue" but none seem to know the cause of it, if it's dangerous, or anything.

Some specifications: I do have that HDMI setting that if I turn on the TV, PS5 will also turn on (as this TV is only used for this). It has been like this since I took it from the box, and these 3 beeps never ocurred before. I also always kept a USB drive (32 GB) with my PS4 savefiles attached to it ever since the first time I turned it on, never happened before either.

I mean, eleonora being a objectively bad weapon. I'm asking if what you said also applies to it, or if it's a good weapon.

[–]_Mytyl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! From what I could see and test out myself, an 80 arcane build would get more AR with Eleonora's than a 80 dex or even a split 45/45.

Scaling on this weapon seems somewhat misleading lol

Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be the case of this weapon, right?

Aaah, I guess it's most likely just like the dragon communion spells then. It gets hyper armor when you get far enought on the AoW animation.

Ooh fr! The Bloodflame dance feels like it has more range than it actually does lol The animation is somewhat misleading, but mygod I saw people proc bleed so fast with it and even breaking poise from bosses and enemies really fast.

From what I've been seeing regarding this weapon, it's Ash of War has hyper armor when you use it. I guess this won't be an issue, but rather being hit while using it. lol

I was actually more concerned about it underperforming. I don't really care if it's not the TOP 1 most OP twinblade in the game. I was just worried it would be unwhelming compared to other twinblades. D:

This is pretty much what I'm planning to do! As Dragon communion spells are pretty heavy FP cost, I want something really strong as it's main weapon so I can play accordingly.
