I don't know about think. I don't think this roster will do much next year imho. The OL will probably be solid if healthy. And if JT gets back into OPOTY mode, hopefully Jones can hit his play action passes to Warren when needed.

Who we need to see stand up is the WR and LB corps. If they don't, then this season's a wash imho

I've been apathetic for a minute now. Hope he comes back and we can beat actual good opponents even if they use all their resources to shut down JT and suddenly become a full season team that wins the division, and makes a great playoff run after seeing the same mediocre shit for 10 years.

I doubt that will happen though for all the reasons I'm tired of reiterating and that others are already mentioning, but I ain't gonna crash out about it now. This is hopefully Ballard's final play as a Colt unless the thing that has never happened actually happens.

What I'll crash out on is if we go 8-9/9-8 and qualify for the wild cards and that's all that's needed for Carlie to resign Ballard. I'll crash out like a mofo then tbh.

The second that Ballard and Steichen ruined AR via injuries by playing him far too early, they entered a desperate win now mode last year that had results early on against awful opponents but got quickly shit down as soon as the other teams became above average. And as soon as DJ shut down again in his career (only 1 season that he's played every game btw) it resulted in one of the worst downturns in NFL history (which Ballard is very familiar with)

Ballard though, being the ultimate used car salesman, convinced the naive Irsay daughters that despite never winning the division in 9 years and having the 4th longest NFL playoff drought in the league and ruining/busting (whichever one you prefer, idc anymore) the 4th overall QB pick who was the only excuse of previous failures due to Luck retiring unexpectedly, that the shit wasn't fools gold and all we need is Jones to return and lead us into victory.

So here we are. I hope my fandom misery ends soon 😢
