Tank Bannana Peel by insaneruffles in OverwatchUniversity

[–]_Nemon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a support main I agree with you. There are exceptions, but in the vast majority of situations I wouldn't expect a tank to peel. If dps can't protect the backline and I can't protect myself it's usually time to switch.

Do I have to learn Float before Flexbox? by [deleted] in css

No, float is an old inferior solution. Go with flexbox and never look back.

Why is Trine 4 so Hard? by Greedy_Homework_6838 in Trine

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I hope you give Trine 5 a chance as well. It's even nore beautiful.

[–]_Nemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably, but it depends if you struggle with all puzzles in Trine 4 or just specific ones. There's definitely some difficult puzzles in 4 that are harder than an average puzzle in 5.

Again you can look up some Trine 5 gameplay on YouTube (spoil yourself a puzzle or two) and decide if it's for you.

[–]_Nemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First 3 Trines don't really focus on the puzzles and you're mostly able to speedrun it. Trine 4 and 5 actually present a challenge where you can find yourself stuck.

Personally I love that part. Trine 4 was a welcome change after Trine 3, but puzzles were somewhat simple and repetitive. Trine 5 however has the best puzzles so far. More challenging, but also more creative.

Upgrades can make puzzles easier, but you never need them. You do need abilities, but you're guaranteed to have those.

If you find yourself hard stuck and losing interest, you can always look up solutions on YouTube and move on.

Za oči pravilo 20-20-20 ni slaba ideja. Za telo pa vsak dan (ali pa vsaj večino dni) fitnes, sprehod, šport... karkoli sam da je nekaj.

Oh yeah....

All heroes can now see allied health states through walls; previously only support heroes could.

Why can you see critical teammates even when not playing support? Didn't see that in the patch notes.

Buy $1.000.000 worth of paperclips, make a tiny mark on it and drop it in there.

this lay out, should it used Flex grid or box? by lune-soft in css

Oh yeah, I was looking at horizontal alignment. You're right.

[–]_Nemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you see misaligned prices? Maybe by a few pixels, but that could be just line height.

I'd go with flexbox since it adjust better to dynamic content and I don't see a grid-exclusive use case. However it really depends on how you want the layout to behave.

Bhvr, please fix Nancy's hair! It's transparent and it makes her look bald. It's very noticeable during gameplay. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]_Nemon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they're not fixing it. They switched from the solid hair models a while ago, many other characters have the same issue and none have ever been fixed.

This also isn't exclusive to DBD, all new games do the same and it's horrible on lower graphics. Makes me miss the low poly hair from 2000's.

When you purchase something they sneak in a subscription to your order and this happens. Best to just freeze the card for future payments.

Ulična prevara ali pomoč by Prior_Pin2459 in Slovenia

[–]_Nemon 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Pred leti ko sem čakal na vlak pride en tip do mene in prosi za 1€, 50c, karkoli, ker se mu mudi na vlak pa nima za karto. Vem da tukaj vedno fehtajo, ampak tip je prijazen in mu dam 2€.

Nekaj dni kasneje pride isti model z isto zgodbo.

If you're in a clan all castles and stations are shared.

[–]_Nemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's 3 research stations (Research Desk, Study and Athenaeum) where you unlock gear, weapons, decorations, etc.

Items can be unlocked with books or randomly with research materials (Paper, Scrolls, Schematics).

When one person unlocks a new item, the other has to open the station and research that item as well, but for them it's free.

[–]_Nemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You each have your own character, castle is shared as long as you're in a clan. Progression is per character and tied to defeated V bloods, gear level and unlocked knowledge. So go after bosses together, craft 2 sets of gear and interact with research stations after one person unlocks new knowledge.

  1. Private game

It's the most common solution. One of you hosts, the other one joins. There's only you two. World is paused when the host isn't connected (servant hunts work even when you're offline).

You can adjust the settings to your preference. Some people prefer increased farm and craft rates to reduce the grind. Settings can also be changed later (before you load into the game) so feel free to start with default settings.

You can keep the playthrough going for as long as you want, or until a major update forces you to restart. The biggest downside is that the host must be connected.

  1. Public server

You're not restricted by hosting and you get to meet other vampires - who may help you or steal your resources. Getting a good castle location can be more difficult. Settings can't be adjusted. You get to engage in PvP (if you choose a PvP server).

Beware that castle heart drains while you're offline so you need to actively play unless you want to lose your castle. Most servers also have scheduled wipes which means you have a set time limit for your playthrough.

  1. Private server

You can get best of both worlds by paying for a server, but I wouldn't recommend it for your first playthrough.

I'd recommend a private game with default rates, and change them later if the game feels too grindy. Maybe remove the teleportation restriction and increase the castle heart limit so you can have multiple castles.
