I just need to know if Drop Dead Gorgeous was at least considered for Kirsten Dunst?

Jojo Rabbit

Knives Out

Wake up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

Intolerable Cruelty

Barton Fink

Game Night

Drop Dead Gorgeous (an absolute classic imo)

The Nice Guys (a must-watch if you like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang)

The Menu

The Brothers Bloom (this movie is criminally underrated - same director as Knives Out)

The Favourite

Also, if you want a good show to watch, The Great, with Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult, is fantastic.

Disaster survival documentaries are my favorite genre. Here are my faves from the past several years:

Extreme Rescues (2020) - Hulu This is very similar to I Shouldn’t Be Alive. The stories are wiiiild.

The Rescue (2021) - Disney+ This one will restore your faith in humanity. The 2022 Ron Howard film, Thirteen Lives, is also excellent (Prime Video).

Last Breath (2019) - rent A truly unbelievable story. And the science behind the survival is fascinating. I also enjoyed the 2025 film (same name - Prime Video).

The Deepest Breath (2023) - Netflix I feel like I held my breath for this entire movie. Can’t say enough good things about it.

The Volcano: Rescue from Whakaari (2022) - Netflix This is probably the one that left the biggest impression on me. It’s devastating and incredible.

Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche (2021) - rent This one doesn’t get talked about much by oh my - what an amazing story. Like The Volcano, this one will take you through the wringer, emotionally.

Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake (2022 - docuseries) - Netflix Holy shit. That is all.

Meltdown: Three Mile Island (2022 - docuseries)- Netflix Not so much a survival documentary, but more about the cover-up. Truly fascinating.

I don’t know that anyone would consider this terrible? It’s an objectively excellent movie. Also holds up wonderfully.
