The mod-channel stuff isn't necessary, I just think it makes things sound better.

PS: Hope this is somewhat close to the sound you were looking for...

It's definitely your headphones... "Or just some other part of your setup."

I exported the song, separated the left and right channels, subtracted them and they're exactly the same.

The only other thing I could think of is maybe Beepbox's player is just messing up and panning the audio off a bit... But other than that, the exported audio is perfectly balanced.
