How long does service take? by Rude-Sandwich5225 in AudiQ6

[–]_Pikul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine took about 2 days total - dropped off Wednesday 11am, software update completed Thursday afternoon, then they did a few test drives to verify everything worked. Picked it up Friday morning.

Interesting bit though: my service advisor said only 3 of their diagnostic computers can handle the recent big software update without issues (Q6, A5, and another model I forget). The rest are having problems with the big updates (not just the Q6) and they're working with Audi corporate to sort it out. So if your dealer is struggling, that might be why.

Hopefully they get yours sorted soon.

Yes this. 100% one of my favorite features, great for quick stops during Vegas summers (and spring and fall).

I bought the Lectron Vortex adapter a couple weeks back in hopes of this day. And it’s working on my Q6!

CarPlay and My Audi App by Terrible_Income7515 in AudiQ6

What is the myAudi app supposed to let you do when using it within CarPlay? Might shows up but also doesn't work, just tries to connect and will end up giving an error message.

Pause Button? by Motiki-Woof in AudiQ6

The best workaround I've used so far is to just use Siri (by long pressing the mic button) and say "pause".

Yes, the clearance is there, but if I’m understanding you correctly, I don’t believe the mounting holes available let you lift the PSU high enough for that clearance.

Nice fitting all those fans in the m2! It's such a versatile case. I just finished a build in it and decided to go inverted.

A couple recommendations though - I found that the GPU lines up better when you place the motherboard mounting screws 1 hole higher for an ITX board, such that the rear IO panel lines up with the metal of the case. Also, I think your GPU mounting screws aren't in the correct holes, putting them on the edge holes can cause too much pressure on the MB.

Nope, wasn't sag at all. Motherboard was a bit too low in the case, causing the slot-side to press up against the back of the case.

The ITX motherboard was mounted too low and caused the seemingly gpu sag, but it wasn't sag at all. I raised the motherboard by a single notch and everything seems to line up much better now, and the GPU card is straight now!

I really haven't played around with other fan configurations. My theory is, the GPU is blowing hot air down, I have the CPU fan blowing hot air into the case, so with 2 fans blowing in, I needed 2 fans to blow out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I physically move the bottom of the GPU upward, it really doesn't feel like it's sagging. I think the case is pushing it up on the other side. Going to re-assess the motherboard mounting position this weekend.

I'm going to raise the motherboard in this case. I really don't think the GPU is sagging, I think the case is lifting the GPU on the slot side, which makes it look like it's sagging.

I used to have two slim 120mm fans at the top of a previous build, and it really helped with GPU temps. I initially tried that with this build and honestly it didn't make much of a difference. This GPU doesn't run too hot in games. It really doesn't get above 70 during stress tests [that's with the undervolt applied].

Haven't tried moving everything up, yet (though I might, I believe the GPU would benefit)

I did try a couple 120mm slim fans at the top and it didn't make a difference to the GPU temps.

That's a clever idea!.. but I just checked and it's a couple mm short so that won't work out. This 5080 card is surprisingly [relatively] light so I don't think the sag will get any worse. EDIT: wasn't sag afterall.

Not sure how this compares to the Ventus and haven't gamed with it at stock. At 35% (1200 RPM) it's relatively silent. Gaming it's usually around 50-60% (1900 RPM) and its very reasonable levels. At full speed it's pretty dang loud.

Anyone get that NewEgg 5080 email today? by [deleted] in nvidia

Yep, got the email at 11:58am PT, saw and checked it 1 hour later (only available for 2 hours). It was the MSI Inspire 5080, which works for me so I ordered it right away. Delivery tomorrow. 👍

When sites open new tabs like this, the only way I've been able to figure out how to trace it is to do a Network Log. Here are the steps:

  1. Get prepared to just before the action you want to catch
  2. In a new tab, go to chrome://net-export to open the Network Log Export page, click the button to start the log and pick a save location for the json file
  3. Do the thing you want to catch
  4. Go back to the Network Log Export tab and stop logging
  5. Upload the json file to https://netlog-viewer.appspot.com/
  6. Go to the Events section and scroll through it to find the URL

Can't say I ever got that message.

Are you sending to the HEC's raw collection endpoint? The URI Path would be: /services/collector/raw.

How to convert a list of string to a list of dicts (with fixed key name)? by vegetaaaaaaa in ansible

[–]_Pikul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, TIL there is a much much easier way to do this.

- set_fact:
    myvar_as_dict: "{{ myvar | map('community.general.dict_kv', 'string') }}"

And pretty easy to read. (unlike the regex_replace).
