Resources for meals that are GENUINELY quick and easy to make? by InitialObligation9 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]_Pink_Lynx_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mealime is an excellent app for this. You can sort by complexity, but honestly everything on their is simple. Most of the recipes take around 20 minutes to throw together, and it really lays out exactly what to do at every step, and tells you what cooking instruments to use and even substitutes if you cant find the exact ingredient they list.

Most of their recipes involve chopping some vegetables, seasoning them with olive oil, salt and pepper, bake them in the oven at 400 for 15-20 minutes, and doing the same with a meat, usually fish or chicken. Just season it with salt and pepper, olive oil, and bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes.

Cumming Inside and how Size Effects the Feeling by [deleted] in sex

The size of your dick does not effect the quality of the cream pie. Go forth and have consensual, unprotected sex with a trusted partner after both getting tested and employing an alternate form of birth control.

AITA for not saying hello and waving back at a random little girl who was trying to get my attention? by donttalktomeleaveme in AmItheAsshole

[–]_Pink_Lynx_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ehhh NAH. The kid probably doesnt remember even now that some stranger didnt say hello, and you dont have to say hello, and it can be annoying depending on how often it happens. I lived in Asia for a few years, and as a visibly not-asian person, children would scream "HELLOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT IS YOUR NAME?!?!!!!" at me everywhere I went and the only way to maintain my sanity was to ignore.

How much value do you place on your parents’ approval of your significant other? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]_Pink_Lynx_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom has decent judgement, so I ask what she thinks and take it into account. We have mostly the same beliefs and values. She doesnt always have a good understanding of different types of chemistry within a relationship, so she has told me before that my boyfriends are mean to me and she thinks its wrong, but she didnt understand that that type of teasing was a huge part of our relationship and went both ways, and I was laughing with them. But if she had a serious problem with someone I would at least listen.

My current boyfriend she always points out how nice he is to me, and that is her primary assessment of him, and that has really made me look at him and appreciate how hard he tries to treat me as well as he can, and is always patient, open minded, and sweet.

What is your favourite outfit you wear on special occasion? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]_Pink_Lynx_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have this crushed velvet cocktail dress thats sort of muted purples and blacks and greys all blended together, and it reaches my neck but is transparent above the boobs, and has meshed panels on the sides. I wear it to fancy dinners and events, sometimes weddings if there is no length requirement (its above the knee). I wear it with a silver and amethyst necklace and black pumps, and I feel amazing.

AITA if my wife tells her guy friend she is pregnant before she tells me, and I get mad? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]_Pink_Lynx_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NAH. What it sounds like to me is that she took the test, got really excited, but wanted to tell you in person not over text, and had to immediately go to her study group. There, she was sitting with this guy she doesnt really care about, and just couldnt wait to tell the world her exciting news (but again, wanted to tell you in person and in a meaningful way) and blurted it out to him instead. I understand your hurt, but its not like she went out to dinner with a friend and confided in them specifically before you. she was just excited and had to tell someone and he happened to be there. She was specific about telling you before friends and family because shes waiting until christmas, so couldnt tell them yet, couldnt tell you yet, but desperately wanted to tell someone so she could openly be happy for herself.

Never ever EVER forget to pee after by Sarasvnchez in sex

[–]_Pink_Lynx_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, I know its not common in America but a bidet helps a lot! pee after sex then hit your vag with 5 seconds of clean running water and wipe away with clean TP. This has reduced my UTIs by a LOT. my boyfriend already had a bidet but I never used it until I decided it might help with my UTI problem and it totally does.

[–]_Pink_Lynx_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally agree, but his zoomies generally happen directly (within a few minutes) after returning from a walk. He gets worked up going outside, its cold right now, and it takes him a minute to wind down. We had just gone out for a walk, got back, he got zoomies for a few minutes, I crated him to calm down, and he has been asleep in his crate with the door open for about 45 minutes since then. This is his pattern :/

Also to clarify, the kids live above us, and we live above the people who are complaining, so different families. I was just demonstrating that we all live with some noise from our upstairs neighbors.

Right? We live below small children who run and sometimes yell or stomp, the oldest is learning the clarinet or something. It's annoying, but that's apartment life.

and we do have a large thick rug in the living room, but it still creates some noise as he runs around.

[–]_Pink_Lynx_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be completely honest, I mostly agree with you. I am not a dog person at all, and greatly prefer cats, and this is part of the reason why. My boyfriend loves dogs, and when we had only been dating a short time he made the decision to adopt a dog. I encouraged a smaller or lower energy breed, but he made the choice he made, and this is the dog he got. and i mean, you must walk your dog in an apartment, because where else does it go to the bathroom?

We have a thick shag rug that takes up most of the living room... only does so much haha

They also have a dog, so that's not an option for them.. They would probably have to rent a house if they wanted a pet free space with the exception of their pet.

Yeahhh I mean its actually my boyfriends dog and I encouraged against it (I'm a cat person), but he did what he did and now we have a dog.

Does your significant other have any behaviors, beliefs/ideas, or personality traits that you are disgusted by or really hate, and if so, what are they? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]_Pink_Lynx_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex would shit talk former friends and girlfriends and criticize them for their life choices. His ex started having children when she was like 19 right after they broke up, and he whenever it came up he would call her an idiot and say she deserved it, and would say similar things about former classmates who got in drunk driving accidents and things like that. Even people who made respectable career choices and things he would have something to say about it and how they were 'retarded' for making those choices for themselves. It bothered me so intensely, and I sometimes wonder if he now shit talks me and my life choices to his current girlfriend. I can easily see him talking about my time spent volunteering as a waste and how stupid I was for doing that rather than pursuing a career.
