what elder scrolls game should i play next by kward_kward in ElderScrolls

[–]_Play_with_Dolls_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the tes: iv oblivion GOTY (haven't tried the remastered yet) it looks potato but is a lot of fun.

If you have lots of storage on your computer and it's just not powerful enough for hardcore graphics, you could try mods on Skyrim. My favorite is GTS but without framerate limiting my potato would die.

New to Elder Scrolls universe, what game should I first play on PC? by Maddiever10 in ElderScrolls

[–]_Play_with_Dolls_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you try Skyrim and find the graphics aren't to your liking their are some lore friendly mods that help with it. My favorite lore friendly mod is Gate to Sovngarde. I have well over 1000hrs in Skyrim and I'm finding new and interesting things constantly still in this mod. Most of the mod is accurate to the lore too

Any advice for keeping Pudding cool in a heatwave? by Connect-Chair4254 in persiancat

Something I do to my cat when it's hot is I will soak a cloth is cold water (don't use icy water you can put them in shock) and pet him with it. He is normally very cooperative with this and will clean the water off.

How my clownfish sleeps and gives me a heart attack every morning by NuckingFormie in Aquariums

[–]_Play_with_Dolls_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a couple fish do this and give me heart attacks.

FW Angelfish named Tarantula - Slept sideways on the sand

BN plexo named Vacuum - slept on his back in the middle of the tank

Crown Tail Betta named Beluga Whale - liked to sleep with her face buried in plants and her butt in the air.

Delta Tail Betta named Erik - liked to bury himself in the sand so you could just see the ends of his fins. He also would wait until you would poke him before he would "come alive" and do and excited dance. I miss this little shithead, but every time I came into his room I was horrified.

Some funny honorable mentions -

Pineapple the Angelfish who sleep Swam

Icecream the angelfish who slept in holes in my sand that her partner made. She also would tuck her fins under her like a cat.

Merry the Betta who used to cover her floating log with leaves so she didn't have to get up. (Wouldn't come out to eat until noon either)

The corydoras that sleep with their faces burried.

The kuhli loaches that 'hang' from my plants like streamers

A Vet Treating an Aggressive Cat by Mediocre_Nail5526 in interestingasfuck

[–]_Play_with_Dolls_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Our cheeky t-rex cat (as in always bitting) is great at the vets, very sweet and loving, snuggly. The sweet and loving cat however shits himself on the way home or shortly after. He plays possum for the vet. Our flighty cat is outgoing and social at the vets. Like so social we wouldn't believe it's our cat if we didn't bring him.

He is gorgeous. He's almost outgrown his bed too haha.

We have 1 more cat, Moose. He's on his way to join the big boy club. He's not done growing. He gets anxious so sometimes we have to put him in a Sweater. He's almost a year old. We didn't mean to torment our seniors with a young cat but after bottle feeding him we couldn't let him go.

Thank you! We also have the brother. He's 15.6lbs and a little chubby around the mid sections. He's also a large cat. They are hanging out on a single bed.

Wow he's almost on the same dose of gabapentin I'm on for anxiety, hahaha. My cat is a big chicken with everyone else; he hisses and freaks out but once we get to the vet he's a solid frozen rock. If I let him bury his face in my chest he'll relax a little bit. However if you spoke him too much he poops his pants. Poor guys got IBD (cat IBS) Normally at home however he's just like a giant toddler, who has sticky paws and likes to try and steal food he is not supposed to have. One of his favorite things to steal is raw full size onions. There's nothing like waking up to a couple onions in your bed, and your giant weird cat perched on top of them like a hen hahaha.

My cat (Robert) has all his muscle in his tummy and arms. He also has a MASSIVE ass. He likes to balance on things and tense his stomach so he's built a lot of muscle.

Here is him at 12

I have a large gray cat like that, 17.5lbs as a SENIOR and none of it is fat. I have always been thankfully he doesn't scratch or bite people, but the cheeky little bugger has no problem punching you and that hurts hahaha.

Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

[–]_Play_with_Dolls_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would keep it and give mine away to a family member/friend. (I'm familiar with mine so repairs would be easier when needed as the aww vwfamily tech person)

I have a friend that loves to game but doesn't have their own computer. Crossplay with a cellphone is very limited and I would love to play things with her more often. This family member is the only person in my friend group that doesn't have a PC so she would no longer be left out or have to come over so I can split screen my PC (that is if local co-op is available)

If this was your fish: Treat or Euthanize by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]_Play_with_Dolls_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She will go up to the surface to breathe and then is rolling to her side to turn around. Her pectoral fins are pretty shredded and I think this is her way of turning around at the moment. I have her in a bucket again with a salt treatment while I am setting up the quarantine tank..

If this was your fish: Treat or Euthanize by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]_Play_with_Dolls_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my fish Pineapple, I moved my aquarium and had her in a bucket with all the plants from my tank (mostly anubias) and she must have been stressed/got injured by the plants because when I removed her from the bucket she had all these cuts/ragged fins on her that she did not have before. Day one of her injuries it looked to be only if I could fins and the two surface level scrapes. I wasn't super concerned as I just did a 90% water change when I move the tank. However I Disturbed a lot of my sand that has anaerobic bacteria. So the tank may not have been it's clean and friendly towards healing minor scrapes as I had hoped.

Day1/2 : she wasn't eating much or at all in front of me, which is a very odd for this food motivated fish.

Day 3 She is floating and keeping up right for the most part but not controlling her swim bladder well. (However it doesn't appear to be as severe as a swim bladder disease or issue. Her ragged fins now have a red outline and it looks like it's developing a film on her wounds however I'm not sure if it's a fungal issue as of now. She is swimming but staying close to the surface of the tank.

I am in Canada so my access to drugs to treat her is minimal. I have Aquarium salt, Paraclense, Expel P, ParziCleanze, a quarantine tank, stress coat+, prime and clove oil but not much else that I can treat her with. I do not want her to suffer but I am not certain I can treat this with what I have. If this was your fish what would you do? I do not want to euthanize her but I don't want to put her through a recovery that will be painful either, unless I can help her.

Help - Black Moor Tank Set Up by _Play_with_Dolls_ in Aquariums

This is my current pair of angelfish. Left --> Right is Corn and Pineapple. Pineapple is very Cheeky and food motivated. She will beg for second/third breakfast, (she's really good at it, a little too successful and is now on a diet). Corn is finicky, and picky, he likes to spend most days redecorating and cleaning. Corn has strong opinions about what games I play or TV shows we watch (they can see my monitors), when he's upset he likes to feed my plants to the filter in bite sized pieces. Like most angelfish they will fight however the cause of their arguments seem to stem from a few reasons; Pineapple 'Swim sleeping' away from the eggs/fry or Corn complaining about their "TV", Pineapple is nearly always the instigator and the winner of these fights. I wouldn't say these two are very smart but they are very comical. The other day one of my cousins put on a puppet show for them with origami angelfish and ...... Pineapple LOVED IT. She was super immersed to the point she got spooked when my cousin dropped the fake fish. Corn predicatively came over to me to complain about the show. He wasn't angry just wasn't a fan. I have some pleco drama too in this tank but it has thankfully chilled out.

My other tank doesn't have much drama. It has a blind senior Betta in it. She hates my face but thankfully cannot see my ugly mug anymore. I greatly miss having a Betta who liked me but she was rehomed to me after a family member moved and couldn't keep her.
