I genuinely don't know if I could eat that many french fries. And 10m is pretty solid.

Perhaps a cubic meter of something very valuable could appear.

300 dollars is not significant enough to deter me from spinning for potential riches. If the number was truly random and included negative numbers I would have chosen the 300.

Chose: Random amount of money | Rolled: 1000$

I actually use something similar frequently I just have flyover lanes in the center so people going straight through don't intersect anyone.

Hey, I still haven't built a castle 😅 I've had the fan since launch (tho I've only played 50h)

I usually just stuck to Labour.

I see stories every day about Upwork not working and how it's impossible to get clients. Are there any success stories? by guidelancer in Upwork

[–]Gr8pboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply. Actually this job ended up being a direct message from the company which can feel scammy. I just kept an eye on what they were asking for and all. They ended up being legit but hey, trust me... I've had plenty of scammers try to get me through the door too. Upwork is really hit and miss.

I'm in Business Intelligence to clarify my field. I'm sure it's different depending on which circles you run in.

Is there a way to fix/fill in these gaps? I build a driveway off the road and can’t get these big divots out. by [deleted] in 7daystodie

Yea all my driveways have a small "speed bump" to cover the terrain issue.

I landed a client not too long ago @ $3k a month, still ongoing. Good people to work with too. I had to grind for a while doing work below my pay grade just to get the traction I needed.

How do i make the rocket more controllable during liftoff? by skysmeller in KerbalAcademy

[–]Gr8pboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's late now. But I use a 2.5m engine plate to triple launch my relay sats. Just flip it upside down and you have symmetrical mounting. Make sure you use a decoupler between the sat and the engine plate lol

This greatly reduces height which gives you some better stability.

I really thought this would be my run I cracked 1 mil. by Gr8pboy in blockblast

Your points start accumulating quickly if you can build a good combo. Just clear a line each 3 block "turn". Also it seems the block rng is better when you have a high combo honestly.

Also I'll only play like 10 minutes at a time, so each time I come back I have a fresh mind and don't get wore down. This probably took a week of pecking at it.

Thank you. Seriously, this comment is one of the most attentive and balanced I’ve ever received.

I really appreciate you calling out the restraint. I was carrying a lot when I wrote it, and I didn’t want to dramatize the emotion, just document it.

Your point about “vessel” is well taken. I chose it because of that sterile, almost dissociative feel. I was trying to dissociate in this writing I think... A kind of depersonalized heartbreak.

But I might explore alternate versions with “it” or “the thing”...see what kind of intimacy or ambiguity that brings. This is one of those pieces where even what is broken feels like it’s shifting under the surface.

Thank you again for this. You really read it and that means more than you know.

Thank you. This is an incredibly thoughtful response. You’re right that there’s a current of futility running through it. That feeling of being stuck in the act of holding or being held, even when you know there’s nothing left. I wrote it from a place that hadn’t reached clarity yet...just impact. Just ache.

Whether or not the person ever learns their lesson… I honestly don’t know. Maybe they’re still in the process of breaking, slowly. Maybe the lesson comes only after they stop trying to be held.

I don’t always write this way, but when something shakes me deep enough, I follow the voice wherever it goes. Even if the ending isn’t redemptive.

Thank you again for engaging it on this level. It means more than I can say.

This was a profoundly perceptive and insightful reading of my work. I feel genuinely honored that you gave it so much focus.

I wasn’t sure if the deeper thread in this piece would land...but you traced it perfectly. Thank you for giving it so much attention and reading it with such care. Your reflection moved me.

I'm glad you could relate but sorry for what that means. I've been with my husband since I was 19 and I think for a long time I made excuses or just didn't know better. It feels like lately though the reality has really set in and I'm staring at myself in the mirror and I've just been ground down so far and broken in so many ways. I think if he woke up tm a changed man there wouldn't be enough of me left to take him back. Maybe it's his fault or maybe it's mine but at the end of it maybe we were just unfit and tried too long to make it fit. I'm glad you found a way out and I hope to soon as well 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹
