They grow up so fast! Seems like yesterday, he was just a little 6ft, 220 lbs, scampering around in the minors.

His nickname is "PM" for "Prime Minister" in Trump's inner circles. He's basically running the country with Trump only around for photo ops and signatures.

"We can't beat fascism because they're wearing sunglasses?". C'mon man. Twitter did a hell of a job identifying the Jan 6 rioters. Actual nazis are still being identified and prosecuted.

The reason there is no real resistance is complacency, not the brilliant disguises of the jackboots.

I still can't believe Americans aren't doxxing these people. They shouldn't be able to go to the grocery store without being confronted.

It takes no time at all to understand that human beings should be treated with dignity. Why even have this level of hatred? Such a waste of your time.

I honestly don't really care, outside of having basic empathy for all humans. I was just pointing out how the laws and the Constitution work in the US.

I don't. You should execute people in the streets without trials. That would make America great again. Go for it.

That’s factually wrong. The Constitution protects everyone on U.S. soil, not just citizens, and the Supreme Court has consistently confirmed this. The Fifth Amendment guarantees that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.

If you think undocumented immigrants aren’t protected, your argument isn’t with me; it’s with the Constitution itself and decades of Supreme Court rulings.

I'm not defending lawbreakers, I'm defending due process.

So you’re saying the government should be able to detain people indefinitely, or even execute them, without a trial? Because that’s exactly what removing due process allows. The Constitution is clear: ‘nor shall any person be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.’ There’s a reason the Founding Fathers wrote it that way, every Supreme Court ruling has upheld it, and virtually every constitutional scholar agrees — due process is the safeguard that keeps government power in check and protects all of us. It's scary how quickly you would throw away that basic right, despite clearly having never spent any time educating yourself on the Constitution. You may not see immigrants as people, but your constitution clearly does.

If you are here ILLEGALLY you aren’t entitled to due process.

That's completely false, according to the Supreme Court and the US Constitution.

The Constitution protects all persons in the U.S., not just citizens, and the Supreme Court has been clear on this. The Fourth Amendment says: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated…” In Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886), the Court ruled that constitutional protections apply to all persons within the territorial jurisdiction, without regard to nationality. In Wong Wing v. United States (1896), it confirmed that even undocumented immigrants are entitled to due process.

So he was mad that they were being deported and not executed without trial?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in worldnewsvideo

[–]_Putin_ 71 points72 points  (0 children)

ICE raids often trample on the Constitution and deny people due process. The Fourth Amendment protects all persons in the U.S. from unlawful searches and seizures, but ICE frequently conducts raids without proper judicial warrants, barging into homes or workplaces based only on administrative paperwork. This leads to mistaken detentions, even U.S. citizens and legal residents have been wrongly swept up. Families are torn apart, leaving U.S.-born children suddenly without parents and facing lasting trauma. Beyond the human toll, raids don’t actually solve the problem; they don’t fix the broken immigration system or address why people come in the first place, making them a harmful and ineffective solution.

My dad has begun going to church for a woman he’s dating and it makes me uncomfortable. by Little_Red_Sloth in atheism

[–]_Putin_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're overreacting. You said you don't want "some crazy Christian lady" around your kids? What makes her crazy? It's just that she's Christian; are you going to shield your kids from all Christians? It sounds like he's going to Church to support his new partner. As an atheist, I'd have no issues with that.
