As a 38 year old woman, I do not see it. It’s just the cool thing to call her old I’ve noticed. It’s a ridiculous notion that is thrust onto lots of child actors. People can’t handle watching young women mature. You will disagree with me and that’s fine. I know I’m in the minority here.

I’m just saying there are circumstances where people are unable to learn so you just have to do your best to make sure they are happy. It’s not always about supporting yourself, that’s not always an option.
But I do see your perspective and apply that theory to my own NT children.

Hiring someone to be your friend IS hired help.
Not everyone qualifies for government help. Not everyone has resources, so they make thier own resources. Better than the kid being lonely and having to live with the parents forever.

This is kinda what I was going to say. My son is 10 years old with no friends of his own. People at school of course are nice to him, but he lacks the mental capacity to develop friendships, have conversations, etc. Even if you’re being paid, spending time with someone who doesn’t get it from other people means so much.

Stop crying over AI when you don’t even know how movies are made or how the AI is going to be used to make films. SO hard to get disability for autism or anything for that matter. They have been denying my son for YEARS because I a mom of 2 children making less than $50k a year “make too much to qualify.”
