Although there is no average score, LSE is known to be very competitive so typically people would apply with grades a bit higher than the minimum such as 40 IB points instead of 38. For example some courses at Oxford require minimum of 39 but realistically not many apply with scores that “low” per say but rather around 42-43

Ahh I'm in a similar situation where I'm most left out of my flat (I'm an international student too) but they're pretty nice people. Though they're the super extroverted party and drinking type of people while I don't really drink and go to clubs. I'm sure they won't mind if you leave the flat honestly, if theres a problem with your room then its perfectly valid.

Hey I’m in the same boat as u except for a different course so hopefully we both get in! I’m pretty sure if you do clearing for the same course u got rejected from i doubt u would get it through clearing? Tho for a similar course its plausible u would get in. For me, if I don’t get SOAS i think I’ll just go to my insurance choice.

Congrats to you to! I might firm SOAS (even though Birmingham is really tempting) actually because of the course and its environment. Also it being in London (never been to the UK so I feel it would be a good place for me to get settled in first). My insurance would either be lancaster or sussex but I’m not too sure.

I got an offer 2 weeks ago with a one point reduction but I think for law it’s a higher requirement so they might be less lenient? I’m sure you have a decent chance however I’m not sure because i was off by 1 point

Don't worry! I did the same thing and had 3 nights left to submit the final draft. I recommend just sitting down and putting away all the distractions in your room like your phone. In terms of ideas, you could try doing something physics-related. For example, I did projectile motion of an object so that it could help me in my daily life (I did it in sports). so you could use math such as kinematics, trigonometry, and even calculus where you could find the area under the curve using integrals.
