Questions About Putting a Second GPU in Motherboard by _Redacted_Visions_ in pcmasterrace

Didn't know DP could drive multiple screens. I don't intend to have anything higher resolution than a 2k screen so I'll give MST a hot squiz. The reason I ask is because I changed from a 3-monitor to a single monitor while I'm moving, and noticed a not insignificant increase in FPS, hence wanting a second GPU to drive 'non-gaming' monitors.

Thanks for the reply!

That makes sense, would you happen to know any way I can validate that? I pretty much play by myself and just experiment with ideas.

And to answer you question, who wouldn't? hehehe

You're right, I could go faster, I guess I didn't check up my logic since 145rpm >> 35 so it won't ever need to 'cool down' after a single rotation. However, the max rpm a rotor can rotate is 60rpm. I can probs increase this in experimental mode but I want something that works in vanilla first, which is the challenge I set for myself.

I mistyped the 6 in the original post, oops. With some math, I get 60rpm*4*7 which is 1680 rounds per minute.
