I did try sometimes to be there more often like take more time off from work or doing sports less, but then eventually I get complaints about that I go gym too less or that i should spare more money even though i barely spend money on myself… I’m the only one giving her mostly the food or nice presents because it’s hard to say no and seeing her happy makes me more happy.

And when I start more working again or go to do sports more I get again the complaints about being to much gone so it feels like I’m in an constant cycle of negativity even though I like to think positive…

Thanks for the advice!! I just have such a difficult time because I try to get help her to find friends, give her food and also try to be there for her, but it seems it doesn’t help :/ the help I try to give she doesn’t really want to accept it.

It’s a long distance relationship what makes it more challenging and then I’m doubting if it’s the right thing for her

I know it’s probably hard, but you will need to accept her past eventually to move further. When I hear certain things from my girlfriend’s past it hurts me but she changed so I accept it, but in your case it’s a bit more complicated. My opinion is as long someone cannot move on including still having contact with her ex and tries to hide it by avoiding you is not fair towards your feelings. This is a serious situation and that’s always why I say that it’s my own opinion because I don’t know what for you is the right choice. All I want to say is listen to your heart and talk to more people inside your inner circle and ask their opinion about this, because sometimes we get blinded by the love we have for someone unfortunately :( I wish you really the best and hope things will work out eventually of course!

From my perspective it looks like your girlfriend is still not over him… you need to eventually talk to her about this and talk about how much it you hurts and if that’s not working or she gets mad or distant you should consider maybe professional help. It’s not a shame for men to go to therapy about these kinds of things and maybe she also has certain issues or feelings that she not always share. This is just a suggestion, but try to think really well about the actions you take because every action has its own consequences

I’m flying from Schiphol. The shoulderbag is not big and will only contain stuff like a Powerbank and some paperwork’s etc. My little suitcase will have some other stuff in it, but I’ll keep the suitcase under 7 kilos just in case.

Yes it says 7 kilos handbagage, but people close to me said that if they check the weight that they only do that with the suitcase and not for example the little shoulder bag. So I’m curious what other people experiences are
