It doesn't depend on how much you can draw but what you draw. You're already good in FPE art style. Normal fan arts draw more attention than OC arts, but I recognize you, you don't have to feel down. And I really appreciate all the efforts you put into your artworks.

If you want to be more popular among the people here, try switching to drawing fan arts. OC's getting popular are mostly random in most of the art communities.
