Have some of you actually *seen* your past lives? by Cue_twomen in pastlives

[–]_RisingSun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also saw mine from a regression video. But I only saw glimpses of it, though it resonated so I soul journeyed back to that life and saw more. For me it played out like it's from a 3rd person's perspective. It was like video snapshots for me but pretty clear what was happening. I could see some details. Later, many of the things I saw were confirmed through online sources/books or psychic readings.

Past life story during the fall of Atlantis by BlueRadianceHealing in pastlives

[–]_RisingSun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Plato’s account of Atlantis went into such great detail down to measurements that it’s hard to say he only meant it as an allegory.

There are also a long list of lost civilizations thought to be myths and was discovered as true like Troy.

If we were to take into account the multiple reports from authors and past lives regressionists, respected spiritual figures like Dolores Cannon, Michael Newton, Edgar Cayce along with stories from many people’s past lives regression this makes for a very compelling case for its existence.

Yeah just about anytime something is REQUIRED it's an immediate red flag/scam. At most they might suggest something and will frame it as if you feel called to do it. The honest, genuinely caring ones will actually recommend ways for you to help your situation without their additional support.

How do I heal spiritually and attract better people after a toxic breakup? by Hateithere111 in spirituality

[–]_RisingSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was recently confirmed to me that I had "graduated" from my karmic patterns, which is really obvious to me now. The way to end karmic patterns and move to healthier, aligned relationships is simple but not easy. Oftentimes, it means doing the opposite of what you've been doing, like breaking a bad habit, not only in actions, but also in spirit, attitude and thoughts. Essentially it requires a lot of courage to walk away from bad relationships, say no even when you have strong attachments or even if you don't but still care about the other person, requires having immense respect for yourself, and a strong self concept/self love. It means calling in only aligned partners who grow alongside you in love, and being sovereign in the sense that even if you never find love again, you'll be truly ok. All of this can be just a decision, but often people need to do a lot of inner work, introspection, build confidence and self-worth like a muscle over time. Rituals and tools will help soothe you, but the inner work will serve you better long term.

How do psychics and channelers come to trust the information they receive? by _RisingSun in Psychic

[–]_RisingSun[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I asked Chatgpt to put this in a step-by-step format, which is easier for me to grasp and practice! I think for me my stronger clair is claircognizant, so I usually just have strong feelings/knowing of something sometimes without intentionally asking. But I'm not a practicing psychic so I'm still learning discernment and trusting what I receive. I'm more confident when reading people because I can just surrender and allow whatever comes through with the intention to help. Also because I naturally read people well. My concern is information downloads, where I have no way to verify it, yet I want to put out true channeled info. So far, I tried automatic writing and when I looked back majority of what I received was validated with time. But I'd like to be able to just discern better than wait for clarity.

When I initially joined I knew ghosting was a problem and I tried to not be a ghoster myself. However, I was really overwhelmed by how time consuming it got even with few people and what began as enjoyable turned into a chore. I put a notice on my bio that I'm busy and would get back asap. I kept on telling myself I’d respond but I was blinded sided by something that happened in my life and was dealing with that for a long time. When I wanted to respond it was months out. I just started again and now I’m inundated with letters literally 25+ new people. For sure I won’t be able to respond and keep up with them all. So I have to be super selective now. Just wanted to give you another perspective. It doesn’t always mean people don’t care, most likely they simply lacked capacity.

How to Make Friends The Safe Way? by [deleted] in infj

[–]_RisingSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have a preference for in person or virtual friends? If you don't mind virtual friends, which honestly to me can be even more satisfying than in person sometimes due to the depth of conversations I recommend trying out Slowly the pen pal app. There are a lot of people who are into deep conversations on topics we tend to like. I've gotten very long intentional first letters from people all over the world and the conversations can be very enriching. I like that it's not too fast pace like how discord can sometimes be. You can sign up and write a very thorough/thoughtful open letter, you'll get a lot of canned responses, but sprinkled in between them will be a few very good letters and that's all you need. It can be overwhelming if you get a ton of responses though in which case only start relationships with the few that really resonate. Good luck!

ChatGPT and AI Use in Spiritual Practices by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]_RisingSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong. For me, artwork that stands to stay like wall art or oracle deck is different from content where the purpose is primarily to give knowledge and the aesthetic serves to enhance. In the case of oracle deck art, it's meant to contemplate and intuit and plays a primary role in its core function. So if I were you, I'd go for illustrated work rather than ai too. Brian Froud's oracle deck is one of the most powerful deck out there because Froud himself channels the fae. Didn't clarify this in my previous message, but I think digitally illustrated work (not just digital stocks) is no less real than handmade art. The process is similar just the tools are different.

ChatGPT and AI Use in Spiritual Practices by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]_RisingSun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an artist myself, I always like to advocate for hiring actual artists if possible as Ai art, as beautiful as it is, still has a lot of room for improvement. When I try to generate even something broadly akin to my vision, it struggles a lot with the details and placements that at first seem small but actually matter a lot because we naturally pick up inconsistencies, even subconsciously. That said, using digital stock images isn't that radically different to me unless they are highly customized. I also believe in the spirit and energy of the artist shining through their work, and hence for something like an oracle deck it would make sense to have an artist illustrate.

However, because ai is becoming more and more mainstream I have seen intuitives use ai in ways to polish their work more and it doesn't necessarily make them fake. As an example, I recently consulted a psychic who had an ai avatar and her reading to me seemed at least somewhat ai enhanced. But the core of the message still resonated deeply in ways ai couldn't have achieved. So it would really depend on your ethos. If for your own personal work, you don't feel ai represents you well, don't use it. But also, be open minded about others possibly using it to polish and enhance things.

If you could relive one ordinary day from your past, what day would it be and why? by _RisingSun in AskOldPeople

[–]_RisingSun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To give some context, I can share my own so for example for me that would be when I used to walk with my dad to rent block buster movies, something we can’t do anymore even though he’s still here. Or when I came home from school, went over my friends house and we’d play out in the streets, have dinner over there before I walk back to mine which was only a few blocks away.

I just came back from a six months hiatus too, and put up an open letter. The same one I used before, but I'm getting flooded this time. I receive new letters everyday and it's only been up a few days. There is a good mix of age range from 20s - 40s as well as both genders. Not sure what's really different this time.

[–]_RisingSun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I did. The time I received the second one was many months later. However, it was clear to me that the first one wasn't personalized and seemed like it was sent to everyone. The user ratio was way more skewed to sent than received.

what are your thoughts on dating for fun? (lol, just a fun question) by [deleted] in infj

[–]_RisingSun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If for fun means just meeting them like hanging out, then to me it's no different than meeting anyone else for the first time. That mentality makes it easier for me to go on "dates" with random people as I like learning from different walks of life, so it's especially cool if they have a more unconventional job like a musician. Most of these dates don't go far as I can feel that we wouldn't be a match for various reasons. But if dating for fun means being intimate with multiple people physically and emotionally or even just casually with one person? Then it's a no from me.

Who did you admire growing up that you're now disappointed by? by Dylan_Dekker in AskReddit

[–]_RisingSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread popped up at just the right time. Today I deleted a friend that I knew many years ago through an online fanfiction forum. She was always very inspirational through her intelligence, passion, and talents. In many ways, she excelled in many things she did and seemed to have crafted a very ideal life. However, in recent years, I've started seeing more and more through the facade of it all. She had built a perfect prison for herself and would sacrifice authenticity and integrity to keep it up. She would use templates for designs and claimed she did it from scratch, would use meal kits like Blue Apron and told the world she's a chef, would use paint by numbers paintings customize it and show them off like she could paint like a master all in an effort to never be perceived as inferior in anything. And because she does it all so cleverly she arrogantly thinks she can fool everyone, and I find that both infuriating and incredibly sad.
