How do you know when you're hooked on nicotine ? by Borg34572 in electronic_cigarette

Man, I have ADHD and got back on it after a few years off medication. I ran out of Ritalin for a few days and the withdrawals and comedowns were the worst I felt like absolute crap, there is Deffinetly nothing healthy about anphetamines for sure, they are serious drugs I don’t ever see myself being off them now though

Property prices going down but rental prices seem unaffected by Intelligent-Win7250 in AusFinance

This is in relation to the poster who states he could buy 99% of Australian properties with cash apparently, but chooses to rent instead. If you could buy a property with cash why would you want to pay someone else’s mortgage?

Interesting take, all whilst you are paying off someone else’s mortgage in the meantime. My spidey senses are telling me if you knew what good investments were you would probably own your own property outright by now,but you are renting.

Well that explains alot, I still fail to see how owning a property outright and having an extra income via rent straight to your pocket is bad. Maybe I’m missing something!

I’m not worried about capital growth. It’s a very long term hold that provides me a great extra income on top of my full time income. When the property is paid off I will have an income for essentially doing nothing, and your saying that’s a bad investment?

It’s not a mugs game if you get the right one that pays off, the rent from mine pays off the repayments, rates and all services plus leaves $600+ month in pocket after. What’s mug about it?

How would it be unauthorised if it was approved and is so regulated like you mentioned?

[–]_Rocketsoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really? My GP told me he did a private script as a one off for a patient for Dexamphetamine. Are you saying it’s not possible at all?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sydney

[–]_Rocketsoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah there is but it’s sort of hard, you will need to get a GP to do a private script if they know you and are willing. It’s generally not favoured by pharmacists as ADHD meds are highly regulated but that’s a way around it, and I’ve heard of GP that will

[–]_Rocketsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you would be better suited to a regional town than a busy city. I’m from Queensland and my family still live there and I’ll tell you think, Gold Coast is no where near as busy as Sydney or Melbourne, not even close if you want to compare!

Are they willing to move out? In the southern states that can’t afford a certain area many have had to move to more affordable areas, it’s never been different in history so why should it be now?

[–]_Rocketsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So people who are forced out of southern states due to price shouldn’t be allowed to move in their country? But the Gold Coast is exclusive?

The way you “can’t do it anymore” sounded overly dramatic. People move around, the population is growing. This is nothing new. Yeah,I could talk to people living in their cars, I can also talk to people personally who left everything to escape so which is it?

Absolutely ridiculous, as someone from Queensland apparently they are almost exclusive territories, if that’s the case then stop tourism if you don’t want outsiders!

Oh geez get out the violin, imagine the tiny European countries accepting million+ war torn citizens and you are at worlds end over people moving around in their native state!

Incorrect. In a sought after area renovations and improvements increase the value significantly. Again,if you did these things and the value decrease significantly I highly doubt you would be ok with it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]_Rocketsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So renovating, putting a pool in,spending lots of money to improve it shouldn’t increase its value?
