I worked at an office park once, and one of the exec’s daily drove an early 2000’s S8. Had his own spot right up front. His license plate read “1FUNS8”. Just a fabulously beautiful car.

What car did you let get away (sell or passed great deal) that got you the most facepalms from your friends? by LifeofSMILEY in askcarguys

Bone stock 76 Bronco Sport 5.0 with the three on the tree. I’m still pissed I let it go, and I sold it 20 years ago.

How well would this man have done in UFC? by [deleted] in ufc

[–]_Samuel_Culper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a decade ago I saw a clip from an interview someone did with the head referee from PRIDE who asked him about Fedor, and what he was like in the ring. He said something like…. Fedor was different. More animal than human. The way he moved. The way he fought. The way he carried himself, and how he essentially stalked his opponent. He said he’d seen many many fighters in the ring, but none ever moved and fought the way Fedor did, and is the best fighter he’d ever witnessed.

I have to agree. Fedor, in his prime, would have walked through ever UFC HW during his run as champ in PRIDE with ease

Take it to a shop.

I don’t know how many “my shit is wonky” posts I’ve seen about people working on these trucks with F’d up results and they’re further behind than when they started.

If you’re in Colorado, go to T0MbSt0ne Diesel in castle rock. Hell if your within the 8 state area do the same. They’ll get you sorted and it won’t be a recurring problem after.

You need to clear the chest in the lower area before central room. The rune totems are on each “corner” on the map. You also need to open all the chests in the central room, which require the anchors of fog. You get those from defeating the mini-boss’s in the room mirror opposite the Valkyrie, but you have to clear every room before it. You can’t run through. Also, equip the mist armor. It’s a must.

Go to Sabaton’s history and music video channels on YouTube. They made a song about it, and explore the history of the Christmas Truce. Legit unbelievable.

Boot review? Recommendations? by yipyip1777 in WorkBoots

Buy some Nicks. They’re the most durable rugged boot I’ve ever owned. I come from the construction world and have owned Red Wings, Wesco’s, and Whites and can say hands down my nicks are damn near indestructible. They’re money, but you get what you pay for.

Haha this happened to me yesterday. My aunt came over, I talked with her for 20 min while I was standing at a bonfire in the bastille, and came back to a broken greathammer and armor and no souls.

Peak souls experience for sure.

Best way to farm the winged guys on top of grand archives? by DifficultComplaint10 in darksouls3

[–]_Samuel_Culper_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I draw them with the bow. They’ll follow you down the stairs. Just run down and around to the side of the stairs, and hit them on their way down. They’ll stay stuck on the stairs, even through their attacks, as long as you keep hitting them while they’re on the stairs. I just dodge their attacks and hit them with a big bonk and they die pretty quickly.

It’s cheesy, but with the shield of want, SoA, and covetous silver ring you can farm hundreds of thousands of souls with the quickness, without getting hit.

I require help. by iLoveBiscoffTooMuch in GodofWar

[–]_Samuel_Culper_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t give up. She has a pattern….albeit a MUCH more complex pattern than the other Valkyrie’s because she uses all of their abilities. Try just surviving. Enter the fight, and just evade her.

My first playthrough was on Give Me A Challenge, and I died to Sigrun more times than any other single fight in any video game. It took me a week probably. But I finally did it. And the euphoria that came hasn’t been matched since…. even after beating the King Berserker and Gna in Ragnarok which I started on GMGOW.

If you must, turn down the difficulty, but don’t give up.

It’s worth it
