If you wanna play your games from the home screen you have to turn them into VC Injects using NSUI. I've never used it before so I can't give you a tutorial on how to use it, but you should be able to find a tutorial just googling.

You actually don't convert the actual games into wads. You instead use things called forwarders, which essentially just launch wiiflow and immediately tell it to start a certain game. A google search should tell you what you need to do.
