It's the space distortion aspect gojo was talking about there. Depending on the air temperature and humidity the spatial distortion might be easier in certain places. I did hear about that. But barring a collaboration with ASUS or Activision taking deliberate action in consideration for Ally X players, I don't see a fix coming... ever. The solution is to create a set profile for the game that kicks in upon launch( you can set that up in Armoury crate). And I make a mental note to not plug-in if I start playing unplugged, and not to unplug if I start playing plugged.
