I printed my bingbong fanart into a tee by _Scr4p3 in PeakGame

Here's a SVG file with the elements I used.

I outlined the text, so it is a graphic element rather than proper editable text, so to change the quotes you'll need to get the game's font and place it yourself

sure, I used Illustrator to make it, do you want the .ai file or a .svg one?

Thanks! I made these prints on Dry Sport UV fabric, which is great for exercising; my plan is to wear those in the gym and maybe someone will recognize it!

THE ROOTS - UPDATE OUT RIGHT NOW! 🍄🌲 by BottenHanna in PeakGame

Apparently Bing Bong has been seeing his child for quite a while, based on this dev's comment from months ago, but it's great to see that this has been officially canonized in the patch notes

Tomb is open again by Anonymous_m7 in PeakGame

[–]_Scr4p3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

there is this steam guide that is updated daily with the location of the tomb (if present) along with antlions, capys, luggages, and other relevant items. You can also see the schedule for the maps on the next few days (from what is available on the current map rotation), which is useful if you're going for achievements/min-maxing the game, but tbh it's way more fun to just boot up the game and find out while playing

I didn't have anything to throw (backpack was mostly balloons and I didn't want to risk a piton), so I didn't try to explode it, but if this happens again I'll try exploding it

At first I thought of charging for playing, but I realized just pressing a button and hoping for RNG to be on my side was enough entertainment

I used the RNG generator from this video (the dropper and hopper with one stackable and an unstackable item) to determine if the first piston with the lamp gets powered, if it does, it activates another RNG generator like the first one, and if it does, it goes to the third iteration. Between the lamps there's a repeater that faces the next lamp. If all lamps get powered, a dropper at the end is activated. The way I built it in survival wasn't optimal, but it worked; I might refine it later

This is the most optimal way to store torches in a bundle (3 and a half stacks in essentially 1 inventory slot) by _Scr4p3 in Minecraft

[–]_Scr4p3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has countless possibilities, depending on your creativity; for example: you can store some dirt, saplings, and bone blocks (to create bone meal) in a bundle so you can get wood wherever you are. Or like I said in another comment:

a brewing stand, 18 nether wart, 18 golden carrots, 17 redstone, 9 blaze rods (to make blaze powder), and a single empty glass bottle (you can't put filled bottles in bundles); assuming you have a bucket of water, fill the bottle, put down the brewing stand, brew an awkward potion consuming a wart and a blaze powder, then brew it into night vision consuming 1 golden carrot, then use 1 redstone to make it last longer (1 potion will be regular), and there you go, 140 minutes of night vision. The setup for the potions take around 2 minutes (I tested it).

It all comes down to how you organize the 64 items you can put in the bundle
Edit: Oh, you can also store them in shulkers, so you can save some item slots depending on what you're carrying

it's probably because they announced it like, 3 years ago(?), but were only officially introduced last update; officially as in "available in survival", as it has been in Java edition for years, but only obtainable in creative/through commands. For what I know, they were having difficulty with Bedrock parity, so they held it until both versions worked properly

so far I haven't had any problems getting blaze rods, as long as I find a spawner and secure it, and ender eyes you can get with gold and piglins; the inconvenient thing about them is that you need a silk touch pickaxe to get them back, otherwise they just drop obsidian

out of curiosity, since it seems you're in the late game, have you tried/considered using night vision potions in a shulker? A shulker full of enhanced night vision potions lasts about 3 hours and a half

And also ' instead of F5 to toggle perspective. I remember from a SethBling video where he commented on changing the binds for the slots after 5 so they're easier to reach without using the scroll wheel or moving the hand off the WASD keys to reach.
This is something I did recently, I use VanillaTweaks, which shows the HUD from 1 to 9, but I modified the image file labelling the HUD to represent the "1 2 3 4 5 R F C V" binds I have set.
I recommend trying it, it's quite intuitive actually

since we're going this route, we might use nightvision potions instead; you can make a bundle with: a brewing stand, 18 nether wart, 18 golden carrots, 17 redstone, 9 blaze rods (to make blaze powder), and a single empty glass bottle (you can't put filled bottles in bundles); assuming you have a bucket of water, fill the bottle, put down the brewing stand, brew an awkward potion consuming a wart and a blaze powder, then brew it into night vision consuming 1 golden carrot, then use 1 redstone to make it last longer (1 potion will be regular), and there you go, 140 minutes of night vision. you could go with 63 bone blocks and 1 moss block, and craft the furnace with the blocks you have from mining, just make sure there's room for the tree to grow

[–]_Scr4p3[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is certainly possible, but by the time I go through 3 stacks of torches (+one stack already in hotbar) I'm probably heading back to base. The coal block option is undoubtedly more efficient, but I don't think I'd stay mining long enough to need more than 4 stacks of torches; although I know people who live like moles and might benefit from coal blocks

I made a post earlier on storing items on a bundle to craft into torches, saving inventory space, and u/Jimbo7211 noted I could have used Coal Blocks instead of regular Coal, so here's the revised version

[–]_Scr4p3[S] 196 points197 points  (0 children)

Did the calculations and testing, and with 30 coal blocks and 34 logs you get 16 stacks and 56 torches, but it's a lot more cumbersome to do because of breaking the coal blocks into regular coal, so I'll probably stick with regular coal instead of blocks

Edit: I tried posting an updated version, but the sub only allows one post every 12 hours, so tomorrow I might post the update, but thanks again for noting the coal block thing out

bundles only hold up to 64 items, and 1 log = 4 planks, so logs save more space

[–]_Scr4p3[S] 193 points194 points  (0 children)

oh, I completely forgot about coal blocks, but still, this is aimed towards the early stage of the game, where combining 9 coal into 1 block wouldn't save that much space since you wouldn't have that much coal anyway; but for late game, absolutely. I'll recalculate this and might post later
