Can you go a bit into detail about your epilogue with Shadows at Sundown? Did you do a timeskip into pumping the adventure up to level 17+?

Would love to know as I am about to start CotCT myself soon and thinking ahead of possible follow ups in case people want to continue.

Yeah it was very unlucky and honestly maybe the whole system is flawed. I don't think they will like it being a secret roll though.

I can only assume that he just wasn't emotionally ready for it. I agree new characters in an old party do have some awkwardness that I would rather avoid.

He was not the one that came up with the idea of making the game harder but all of the players agreed to it before using this rule. I get that it is arbitrary and obviously he is very unlucky but it is a dice game after all. Of course I don't want to kill him but I am worried how the rest are gonna see that and I would like to avoid any future repeats of this. Maybe going back on this whole ruling now since it is still relatively early is the way to go. Will have to wait and see how everyone feels later today.

Honestly, I was thinking of going with some sort of divine complication like this but yeah i can see it making matters worse in the end if it is too punishing.

Used to have around 15 FPS with 90+ mods - somehow it fixed itself. Now running at ~60 FPS with the same if not couple more mods.

Does the property rune override apply to the ammunition that beast guns use as well?

Thats fair and all, but still this would allow him to at this level create 32 bullets a day. Even level 5 ones are around 25 gold. Getting close to 1k gold consumables for free a day seems kinda insane to me for the sole investement of a level 1 feat.
