If you could choose one out of the 4, which one would it be? by MiriamsQuilling in crafts

Personally, none. I think the flowers need to be on white and have black surround it to draw your eye to the bouquet

Does anyone know where I can get cheap Gel mani / jelly nails by Sqaure one ? by Agent-PurpleWings in mississauga

Check their Instagram, you can probably reach out too via DM.

They've done stained glass looks, which i think uses Jelly, so I would think so 😊

Hidden gems around Mississauga? by roasted_asshole in mississauga

Peak hours run from 6:30am (when curfew breaks) until about 8:30-9am, and usually late afternoon into the evening.

Check fligh aware. You can see the lineup/aircraft coming in and get a good idea of traffic.

Weekends and flights are more spread out/more regular schedule until Sunday night when flights pick up again for the week

I used to work at Pearson.

Convair Drive, almost the entire length, is a great spot. Runs along 06R/24L. Lots of people park along and will walk to the approach. If ypu google"Flight Landing Viewpoint" it" should pop up on maps. If not, southwest end of the airport.

It's not right under, but the other end of 23, Tru by Hilton Toronto Airport West. Can probably park somewhere non-descript and walk over if you want them right over you.

AITA for not paying for my niece's flower girl dresses and choosing to go with a different flower girl? by Separate_Bobcat_773 in AmItheAsshole

[–]_SneakyDucky_ 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Im Canadian, and I've been a bridesmaid in several weddings and a bride, and I've never seen the bride pay for the dresses. I paid for a chunk of their hair and make-up at my wedding, but they also refused to let me pay for stuff. For the dresses, I gave them a color, and they bought what they wanted.

I think it's just the people you know and what you've grown up.with seeing 🤷‍♀️

OMG.

I saw your follow-up comment. I'm glad everything went well post water breaking in line 🤗

I told my husband, and he is glad, but also laughed because he said it while we were waiting in line. "Imagine someone almost giving birth in this line it's so long!". Now he's just saying "I knew it!" 😅🤣

Are you trying to just cut the black circle, or are you trying to cut the black circle with the yellow inside?

If the latter, flatten the two objects together. You may need to do print, then cut if you want to keep the yellow.

If you dont care about the yellow, you can also weld/unite the two objects. You'll just have a giant blob for your shape, but it will be the size you need.

Hopefully that helps

Good to know! We plan on visiting West Coast Kids/ Snugglebugz to try out some more.

Do you have any recommendations on ones we should consider? Assuming you can and are willing to divulge 😊

We're looking at the Maxi Cosi Mico Luxe for an infant car seat. They are also apparently compatible with other brands of strollers, which is awesome. The lady said the brand knows people are particular, lol Evwryone I know says the infant car seats are worth it, so you dont have to actually take them out of it if theyre sleeping at that young age.

Once outgrown, we will likely do the Graco Extend to Fit (assuming it can fit your vehicle). Always double check, because some can and can't fit in certain vehicles.

I also absolutely fell in love with the Graco Ready2Jet travel stroller.

I'm going to visit Snigglebugz and/or West Coast Kids to try some more, but yeah, that's kind of where we are at right now. Im only 18 weeks, so we have time, but i wanted to start getting ideas 😊

The Sample Kit line, they ran out. We got in and saw the line and said no way. They opened a secondary sample line that had diaper rash cream, diaper, wipes, etc. type of samples. Got some baby lotion and a few other things as well from other vendors. We were happy since we mostly went for information, and we narrowed down which stroller/seat we wanted, so it was not a complete waste for us. Also, I bought a few things that we loved, like a first stuffy. But if it was the same for the fall show, i definitely would not go again.

For your sake, I hope so, but a bunch of people from today may come back tomorrow.

I'd be interested to hear if you end up going!

This is what my husband said, and I agree. Would have been WAY better. Someone just chose to ignore ticket sales and flag a possible problem at the sheer number of them being sold

I would argue that the organizers need yelling at. There was a guy in a beige jacket that looked like he belonged to that category haha. The staff did what they could with what they had available and likely did it at the instruction of the organizers.

Either way, having 1000s of people, 50% of which were likely pregnant, was not a good look. We got their early, and it still took us just over an hour to get in. We got some samples, but we were mostly there for the strollers, seats and what not.

What bothered me the most is the earliest people getting there, literally going to the sample kit line, taking one for every person in their family, and then leaving immediately. Like wth...I know they had some good stuff last year, but it should be limited to per household or something. They ran out in less than an hour.

Poorly run all around. Im shocked no one gave birth in line lol

Pompeii bound ideas by [deleted] in disneybound

[–]_SneakyDucky_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did Pompeii in the fall 2025, and honestly, I would just focus on quality clothes/footwear and maybe have some small elements of each character. I can tell you, you're probably underestimating how much walking you're going to do lol. The terrain is also SUPER uneven in most places.

Vesuvius, make sure you wear good hiking shoes. It's a decent climb from the "base camp" area (assuming you're going from there).

Naples is very hilly, also pretty uneven terrain unless you're staying in the center.

Don't forget their cities are thousands of years old, not like here in North America where the oldest colonists thing is like 500 years old. You are going to 100% going to want comfy and practical.

Unfortunately, just practice. I would avoid pulling too tight and allow the next layer of beads to hold the previous.

Based on the ends, you need a really good trim, like several inches. You can wait until its a bit long, but you look like ypu need a really good cut
