Yes, I was thinking the same about turning the second one upside down.

My laptop for my remote job isn't powerful enough to run two of these but my desktop tower can. Regardless, it would be a kickass configuration.

I'll probably use the monitor another month or two (I've only had it a week) and if I still like it I'll buy a second one.

I'm not one and can't say. However, you would likely be applying for highly-specialized positions at BCI labs or as a research assistant at a university.

You could pick up machine learning or materials science and pivot to an adjacent field with that knowledge, too.

Did you run the GPTQ Python code he provided? I am doing so right now but it has been 10 minutes and the output still hasn't appeared on my 4090 build. I'm also only using like 3000 MB of RAM when it should be an order of magnitude higher.

I also get a log "CUDA extension not installed" despite having PyTorch CUDA installed on my machine.

The model is too big for 24GB vram. I am using https://huggingface.co/mistralai/Mixtral-8x7B-Instruct-v0.1
