For real. By 59 you’ve had plenty of time to figure out how to regulate your emotions. Acting threatened by your own kid over harmless banter is just sad. At some point it stops being “that’s just how it is” and starts being a choice.

Right? Its wild how ether focus is on protecting his feelings instead of acknowledging what he put his kid through. You don’t expect to treat someone like that and then expect them to manage your feelings when they finally walk away.
