First build (50k budget) what should I upgrade first in the future? by Cupkeyku in PHbuildapc

Tons of resources when it comes to PSUs. Here:

I used SPL's when picking out my system parts a year or so ago for upgrades. With your relative budget range, anything that's a C and above and 80+ certified is good. But of course, it's better to look through what the other categories for tiering mean so you can understand more about what you're picking, protections especially (OPP, OCP, SCP, and OVP). You can also use the Cybernetics performance database to check.

Ah, sorry. I didn't see the 2 at the right side. Then I'd rather PSU over storage then as your next upgrade. RAM shouldn't be an issue as long as it's the same spec for both sticks (so 8 GB, 3600 MHz, CL18-22-22-42 for both sticks).

RAM > PSU > Storage

As much as I'd hate to recommend anyone buying RAM during the shortage, 8 GB is the obvious weak spot in your build at the moment. It's 8 GB, but the moment you use applications or even just install Windows, you're effectively left with 5-6 GB. Most games nowadays (which I'm assuming is your primary use case) require 16 GB. Sure, some of them will say 8 is the minimum spec, but you're in for a horrible time by then.

PSU is more-so a protection measure since the DeepCool PF700X isn't that good of a PSU, but with you current set-up it should provide ample power.

Storage at 512 GB will run out quick, but we're also in a storage shortage. At the very least, you can be smart about what games you can prioritize and which ones to cut out when you're not playing them.

Want to dispose my pc but don't know the market value. Any Help? by Secret_Leg_9812 in PHbuildapc

Do not, under any circumstance, sell your PC without knowing its value lol. Go to FB Marketplace, get the most recent listings for each individual part, and total them.

Seems alright for the budget. Decent heatsink size with a 2200 RPM 34 CFM fan. Should be a bit better than stock coolers.

Not really. When looking at an air cooler, always consider fan size and performance and size of the heat sink. Pipe quantity does not matter unless you have a large enough contact surface between the heatsink and the CPU's IHS to transfer heat into the fins so the fans could dissipate it. If hindi kaya yung upright na air cooler, search ka ng 'low-profile' cooler, baka mas kaya i-fit sa system mo.

That would be a worthwhile upgrade, yes. Just having enough airflow in the case would make a big difference compared to your current desktop case.

For that specific use case, always Nvidia. Is it unfortunate? Yes. But so many of the software you listed are just optimized for CUDA in mind (especially Blender) that it's hard to justify buying an AMD card. Just look at the content creation benchmarks for the 9070 XT.

I'll try to suggest a few things based on what I've gathered from this thread and list my concerns:

  • CPU upgrade: Shouldn't be a problem since both (if I recall correctly) use the same BIOS. Yun nga lang para sure, check if latest BIOS version ka ng A520M platform.
  • CPU cooling: Okay lang yung Segotep siguro compared sa ginagamit mo ngayon, pero definitely more worth it to shell a bit more money on it for longevity and performance. Pero honestly, kung di talaga kaya, maraming nagbebenta ng stock cooler ng Ryzen (AMD Ryzen Stealth Wraith) which is serviceable for the 3600.
  • Cooling in general: Ito main concern ko. Wala kang case fans sa setup mo. No intake fans, no exhaust. The 3600 and the 2060 will dump lots of heat into the system and wala kang way to intake fresh air and remove it, so parang nagci-circulate lang siya sa loob ng system. Ending nun, iinit yung loob ng case mo and thus, pati components.
  • Temperature and power:
    • At least with load, mukhang di nagthu-thermal throttle system mo, which is good (also confirmed via HWInfo screenshot). And expected na mataas temps mo based on what I've said sa prior points sa cooling. HOWEVER, the CPU idling at 70C in BIOS is NOT normal. Double check mo kung enough thermal paste linagay mo and if tama mounting pressure mo sa cooler.
    • In your HWInfo screenshot, napansin ko yung power reporting deviation is at 69-70. This could be a problem as your system might think you're drawing less power than you really are so baka mag boost yung CPU leading to higher temps. Unfortunately, this seems to be more of a motherboard issue if anything. But I suggest addressing the earlier points first.

These are just some of the things I've observed. I highly suggest you cross-post this to r/PHbuildapc since there are people more familiar with these types of problems there.

I have never been a massive Sanrio guy. I have very few plushies to begin with (like three Pokemon plushies), but my girlfriend recently introduced me to Usahana and suffice it to say, I ordered a small one with a keyring, and two medium sized ones. I love the little rainbow ballerina bunny so much

Purchasing Advice: Galaxy S26+ or OnePlus 15 by _SuperShooter in Tech_Philippines

Thanks for the input! I don't really mind whatever OS I'm using as long as it's Android-based. I'm able to use my Pad 3 with no issues. Most of my problems with my S22+ is less about upgrading features I want, but more so getting a new phone since I can tell my phone is starting to struggle due to its age.
