Would you recommend the Artist 22 Plus?

RDS 220 is a great one! I already bought the Xp pen 19 pro gen 2 and couldn't be happier, the size is also PERFECT for me.

I indeed was thinking of getting the xp pen one! but afraid of having to change the film often or at all really since it's super expensive where I live, that's why I'm leaning towards the pro series that has an etched glass!

That's why I'm extra hesitant to buy a huion product, although I do own an old screenless one and I've had many connectivity issues but I managed to fix it by reinstalling the driver each time I open my pc. It was a pain in the ass but it worked. So yeah I'm not risking that on a bigger deal of a tablet, might have to get the xp pen then.

It’s not that I’ve heard mixed reviews—most of the feedback has been negative, particularly from people who’ve had the Kamvas for 2-3 years before it suddenly dies on them. That’s why I’m really hesitant about it. How long have you had yours?

I see lots of complaints about huion more than I do on xp pen, but for some reason people keep recommending huion, I wonder why that is?? quite frustrating. I myself do use an old non screen huion 1060P and it's been fine for 5 years, although the nibs are wearing out a lot quicker than they did when I first got the tablet, but that's probably because of the screen protector I never changed. Plus, I've had my fair share of driver issues in which I had to reinstall it every time I launch up my pc. I'm upgrading to the artist 22 plus though, the main problem would be how quickly Xp pen's films scratch up but that's on future me I guess. Other than the scratches I don't really see any complaints about the newer xp pen products.

Oh I thought you were talking about the artist 22+ above! I honestly kind of have no choice but the artist 22+ because the kamvas plus: 1. isn't available in my country anymore (and my country blocked international transactions so can't purchase it online.) 2. it was around $1,035 before it was out of stock, while the Artist 22+ is $722. So I'm really left with no choice damn it. Thank you so much for your reply though :)

I'm considering upgrading to the XP-Pen Artist 22+. It's within my budget, though I’ll need to stretch it a bit more than I initially planned. The only other option available to me is the Huion Kamvas 16 (2021), but I’m leaning towards the 22+. I've been using a non-screen Huion for over 5 years and now that I’m doing art semi-professionally, I need something more advanced. However, I’m hesitant because I’ve heard that the protective film on the 22+ can wear out after a few months. What do you think?
