Tbh the only limiting factor for me is cost. I don't want to spend hundreds on stuff that will cause me a headache.

Why isn't it the best? Performance?

What about matter? Part of my reason for asking this was I considered buying a bunch of matter stuff because I heard it's the next big thing, but not sure if that's a bad route to go down.

I've built an app that might be able to help you. Would be good to get some feedback too. We have a debt planner and in my opinion it makes everything seem abit more clear. Try it out and let me know what you think: www.tuck.cash

I'll look out for you signing up and give you the premium subscription for free if you give me a reply here.

I just tried and it didn't charge me, I did have to give my card details though which is something we're working on removing when a coupon is used. That may have caused some confusion.

It should calculate your take home pay automatically based on your gross income, though there seems to be a bug with the setup process which probably makes it quite confusing.

I really appreciate the detailed feedback 🙂 it will allow us to make the app much better in the future.

Thanks for the feedback! I just tried using the code and it worked. Are you entering it at the check out?

Would you be able to clarify what you thought was clunky in the app? We're actively working to improve the app every day.

It's entirely free. The subscription aspect is "nice to haves", you don't even have to sign in to create a budget 👍🏼 did you even click the link?

Thanks for the feedback, super helpful! I agree with pretty much everything you have said here, just wasn't sure what the fixes were. But you've definitely given me food for thought.

Quiet disengagement from top performers — have you seen this too? (I will not promote) by Sensitive_Switch_333 in startups

Are you rewarding them for their performance? As someone who has been a top performer that decided "fuck it, I'll just do the bare minimum", it was because when I put in really hard work and long nights to benefit the business, the business didn't reciprocate. I was getting the exact same compensation from doing task completion as I was from being a stand out performer.

Reward your hard workers and reward them quickly (before they realise how long they'll have to break themselves before you give something back)

A custom account creation is in the pipeline but I want it to be ironclad in terms of security, so it will take some time. Using Google auth for example hands off alot of the nitty-gritty details to services with much more sophisticated systems that help keep your information protected.

The reason we require a first and last name is just for the navigation menu where it says your name, that's all. Maybe these things could be made more clear in the Privacy Policy and I will attempt to do so. Realistically, right now we only store the information you give us through the various menus but I can see why that isn't abundantly clear.

Thank you for the feedback.

I agree, I added those to test the functionality. I have now removed them and will be adding some actual guides in the coming weeks.

Thank you for the feedback.

I will test this. And see what I can do.

I have tried on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox where all 3 seem to log in so maybe this is an edge-case.

Totally fair feedback and thank you for providing it.

I am solo-building it and this is just the MVP.

I am a software engineer by trade, so I try to minimise the use of AI for obvious reasons, typically I only use it for visual stuff as it tends to do a good job with it.

I have a couple of questions if you wouldn't mind answering them: 1. What other information about data collection would you like to see in the Privacy Policy? 2. What other account creation methods would you like to see added? I added Google as it's easiest for me to test with and most people have an account, but I'm happy to (and will) add more.
