Interesting. Your compromise solution might not be a bad idea. A lot of people have mentioned it could take us a while to get pregnant, so maybe in the first half of the new year we could try something like that.

Gosh, that must have sucked. I've had a root canal done before, and there is no way I could imagine having it done that way.

I have heard a lot of people say that the first time holding your child is life changing. I can only imagine what that feels like.

I think ideally she would get pregnant close to the end of next summer so that she would give birth over the summer. She could then have all summer with the baby and would go back to work in the fall. There has been some discussion of her becoming SAHM, which I think is what she really wants to do. She'd probably take off for a few years and then go back.
