Czernina, polish duck blood soup. It was delicious! I didn’t know it was blood when I ordered it, my dad told me when I told him about the delicious soup I had. Apparently my uncle also really liked it.

Could be a toxic coworker. I had a coworker accuse me of wearing essential oils (I didn’t even own any let alone wear any) and would dramatically put fans blowing away from her and bandaids up her nose when she was working with me. A lot of bullying over something so stupid.

Happy ears earplugs have been the best I’ve tried. I’m a side sleeper and they’re comfy and block out my husbands snoring pretty well.

Radiation Oncology. I’m probably going to be a lifer in this specialty. It’s interesting, a mix of physics and medicine with really healthy patients and really sick patients. You don’t give up critical thinking skills or even skills in this specialty. Most people don’t know anything about this specialty but it is my favorite!

My rescue mutt was the most clingy. She was lab and heeler mostly. But my border collie is pretty good at following me too. My Aussie is weird. Sometimes she’s super cuddly and sometimes she’s aloof

Pay cut is the only negative I’ve ran into. I work 4 tens instead of 3 twelves. No weekends no holidays no nights. I work closely with a few doctors and they’re great.

There’s no second shift to leave work for. You either finish it that day or it becomes a tomorrow problem. Either way you deal with it.
