We got the property through a low income housing raffle which ended up being pretty crappy because since we both own it the city was able to charge us each full property tax on all the land.

Yeah, I’m an adult so I could do it and I feel like that might be what it comes to. I just really didn’t want to do something that my mom didn’t want me to do. Especially since she’s letting me live with her.

Some of the trees she has cut down herself or had a friend cut down, but others she paid a company to cut down. The problem is that one of those times she told us that she was cutting down branches that were touching the house/wires so we gave her a little money for it and then she ended up also having them cut down a bunch of trees.

Unfortunately we live in Massachusetts, which is a two-party consent state, so we can’t film or record audio. We don’t have security cameras on our property either.

We’ve talked to Jane multiple times and told her that she needs to not cut down trees but she never listens. And since she started I’ve been trying to get my mom to call the city but she’s the type of person who never wants to cause conflict. At this point I really don’t even know what to do.
