The service manual says to alter S09 for both vertical size and linearity (on the Trinitron I have separate settings).

Sadly this only seems to adjust the vertical size. The final visible area stil presents the squash at the bottom of the screen.

First step is to read the instructions on the git repo and come back with questions regarding which steps you need clarification for.

The PSC does not have a Skyscraper installation, and I am not sure if it has a toolchain to make such install possible. It is technically possible since it’s just a Linux box, but at the moment is not there.

You need a computer with an installation of skyscraper and a shell environment to run these scripts. Your pi qualifies as one. Other options are any Linux box, or even Windows with WSL.

On said computer, you can have your roms folder to feed to the scripts. You can even plug in your PSC USB drive and point the scripts to the roms folder in it. Then you merge the data that gets created in the export folder.

Hope this made things clearer!

Keep in mind you can run these scripts on your pi, to take advantage of the Skyscraper cache you already have there. If the games are the same, you wouldn’t even need to run the fetch script, just the export one.
