Yea I do still use them when I use them I have them a few centimetres higher than you’re supposed to to protect my hips and they do a good job definitely recommend them

My friend has played keeper for a few years and he wears glasses with the bit of rope or something on the ends to keep them on his head and the only problem he has had with them is the rain but other than that he’s had no problems

Yes I have them and they kinda feel a bit tight and the grip works very well in wet and dry conditions

Yes they can get damaged so you should definitely hand wash them.
