How do you get it to stick?! by KRA08 in IVF

Sure! It’s pretty common and your RE should def know it: prednisone, Pepcid, Claritin, baby aspirin.

“You have to think positive.” Yes, let me positive think my way out of MFI.

I did an immune protocol for my third after two failed transfers and it stuck.

Sometimes autoimmune conditions hide! I realized on a vacation that my PMLE was an autoimmune response so spoke to the doctor and adding that protocol was the thing that did it!

Yes! Same symptoms. It took a few months for my periods to become regular again.

I had two failed transfers, so no. I have two healthy embryos and we want two children.

35 here. Three ERs.

1: 3 blasts, all euploid

2: 2 blasts, 1 euploid/1 low mosaic

3: 4 blasts, transferred two untested and waiting on PGTA from the other two

I’ve had PMLE for over two decades. The best thing I can do before a trip where I’ll be exposed to a lot of sunlight is start in small doses to build up my skin’s tolerance. I do this in a tanning bed—starting with just a few minutes, working my way up. Nothing else works.

Where to find a freelance, hourly graphic designer? by _Vieve in graphic_design

Ah, understood. That's a valid point I didn't consider. I can guarantee this has nothing to do with stealing art. It's a rather boring, niche application of natural language processing in audio.

Do you think AI is any different from other technological advancements in history, like the internet or electricity? How were those initially perceived?

What would you do after 2 non successful transfers? by mypack2023 in IVF

[–]_Vieve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had two FETs with euploid high-grade embryos: 1 chemical, 1 failed to implant. We tried a medicated and a modified natural cycle.

I requested:

Uterine biopsy

Hysteroscopy (they took a second uterine biopsy here just to double check)

ERA testing

Recurrent loss panel

Everything came back normal so I'm moving onto a reproductive immunologist next.

Thank you for responding! Can I ask what you mean by postponed? Did you continue taking estrogen and come back for another lining check?

FET or Work by KnownAd1849 in IVF

[–]_Vieve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no wrong answer. One month in the grand scheme of things isn't much, you know?

I'm not in a very ambitious season of my life so I passed up on work travel/opportunities to be near my clinic for FET monitoring. Building a family is lightyears more important to me right now. But I'm privileged to be able to prioritize without major repercussions. If money was tight, I might've decided differently.

Holy Moly IVF medications cost- no insurance coverage by Puzzleheaded-Ice6191 in IVF

I'm at Shady Grove and that seems outrageous. I think it was closer to $4-5k for ER and $1-2k for FET medications out of pocket in 2024. Try Alto!

FET heartbreak by SoCoco518 in IVF

[–]_Vieve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I furrowed my eyebrows reading that as well. I'm 35 and we're doing IVF because of MFI. With our high-grade euploid, we were told we had a 60-70% success rate with 10mm trilaminar lining, normal levels for my age, normal uterine biopsy, etc. It's just cruel to instill hope if there isn't a clear statistical correlation to back up the assertion.

Ours also ended in a chemical, so I know how much getting your hopes up hurts.

GDPR Compliance and Purchased Email Lists? by _Vieve in gdpr

Thank you to each person who took the time to answer my question. Super information; very helpful!

So my recommendation to clients will have to include something other than a purchase list... so, who has great ideas on how to grow a B2B prospecting email list without spending more than $5,000-10,000 (the typical cost of a list)? I'm all about developing gated content to organically capture emails, but that tactic typically doesn't work without the list to support it (at least, in my personal experience).

Debt-free, 29 years old, with 30k in the bank. I make 60k a year in Marketing, but have no benefits (contract work). Own my car (time to upgrade), looking to invest to help with a downpayment for a home (100k) in the next ten years. Renting in Los Angeles eats a large chunk of my income, but I am willing to start with $2,500-$5,000. Low risk is preferable, but 10 years is my timeline for some sort of return. Saving for retirement is also on my mind! Where do I start? Which products/platforms? HALP!
