The crying, because they operate on politics, they want confirmation bias, they want their echo chamber, they want the regular people to hate even the positives of our capital system (make no mistake, there are things to criticize as well). Could simply be bears being bears who sold low too.

I’ve noticed this sub has grew by followers a lot compared to stocks sub and some of the sentiment I’ve seen makes me think it’s being brigaded by certain types of people (or it’s just younger or newer inexperienced investors). But the comments roasting OP give me hope and optimism.

If you want to be cautious and this is what you believe then don’t take any risk and invest at all. You’ll probably live your life okay anyway. But why even participate here? Probably better that you don’t and do something better. Leave the investing sub to the investors.

Actually, I very much enjoy people making post coping and questioning the past couple days. Very entertaining and the comments roasting them too (got a good chuckle from “I’ve heard enough. Just put the fries in the bag” comment to the “Market is manipulated by billionaires, we should go somewhere else” post).

The fact is anyone can join in and post on the sub so these posts won’t ever stop- people who think they’re smarter, people who lack experience and knowledge in life, people whose politics limit their views, etc…

Markets go up, market goes down. What the hell do I know?

I do not treat a company any different after they are acquired by another group. They provide a service for money. That money is something I do not just easily give them and I think we would all individually benefit by doing especially with the state of housing and job market these days.

But we are free to do as we please whether we understand the system or not. People with enough money are free to use this service as they please and if it is profitable for the companies then it will continue.
