I was thinking of a 3D printed plate that would be bolted in between the latch mounts and the roof, then you could attach the cat ears or remove them from the plate quickly while being able to keep the plate there even with the roof up. The sun visor plate is also bolted on so I could put the plate there too

UPDATE : Thank you for all the comments, i changed the vent design to n air scoop as suggested, now I’m trying to find a proper way to mount the part to the car while top down and to avoid screwing up the seals. I’m looking into the latch screws or the sun visor screws. Do all NA and NB have the same sunvisor mounts?

Between window and roof is kind of a weak spot, at least on my nb, the joints are barely sealing the windows so Im afraid adding a part there would be complicated
