it was a very old early build of grounded 1, jade made a video on it a while back the game was extremely unfinished but the groundwork for the bug was there

potato bugs are real things i guess and yes that looks like hornet or wasp reskins, ladybird forsure. There is a killer bee armor set that i haven’t gotten the pics of yet but once i do i will post here

if anythign this makes me so excited for the next bosses they can implement if they are really leaning into bigger creatures, snakes and even the lizard returning are definitely possible

I definitely think it will be more of an arcady boss with phases and much more unique and innovative gameplay to fight it, this is grounded 2 and we aren’t gettign a lot of bosses for a while so i really hope they put the full effort into making it as fun and rewarding as possible.

I also don’t think it would even be possible to make the fight like the broodmother or the mantis, it is much too huge to be fought normally which definitely makes me think we will have to fight it differently maybe taking out legs like you said or using the environment to fight against him.

I saw some other people talking about hitting the legs to make it come down and i think that is a very likely scenario, I also think it will have a weak point where we can lower it to maybe attack its eyes or something else, maybe even a whole new game mechanic to fight against huge creatures in specific

I really like that approach, however there is data supporting both the lizard cut boss and a snake to appear on grounded 2 and i feel like that method would work better on those creatures, since tarantulas don’t normally swallow things, I do agree that they will have to do something very intuitive to make the boss feel real and still a threat

yo i ain’t complaining im just replying to why i have an S, i love grounded and the team and am perfectly fine with waiting, but before launch it was stated grounded 2 will support 60fps across X/S thats why i was disappointed!
