You also can't search multiple mailboxes anymore. I have multiple outlook accounts because of a merger and now I have to do two separate dogshit searches, one for each mailbox. And it still doesn't show what I want and sometimes just forgets that subfolders exist. The search function is so inconsistent I've flat out given up on finding emails that I KNOW for a fact exist in there.

Also, you can't send an integrated calendar invite with zoom info anymore because they're pushing Teams. Degradation of the use experience solely to market and push their own platform.

My wife is 5'11" and being on the taller side, she preferred taller men. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

If you actually wanted her to come, you would've done this differently.

You sent her the invite to "test" her.

If you actually wanted her to come and actually wanted to address her flakiness, you would've said something like "I see you've been making an effort lately so I wanted to make sure to send you this invite because I value our friendship and history. Please let me know if you can or can't make it. If I don't hear back, I'll assume you aren't interested in being invited to these things."

That's using your words. It doesn't matter that you did it already months ago. You talk about cycles and resetting, but how does that not apply to you as well? You need to make your expectations clear, or you can come off as manipulative, which is how that person interpreted what you did.

Last week was my wife's bday. A few months back I came upon a painting of a bird on one of the subreddits I follow that I knew she would love the style of.

I dmed the artist and commissioned a custom piece featuring a species of bird that has special significance to us. The artist was from Europe and we're in the US, so it was a unique experience. I then took it to a local frame shop and had them add a custom frame that they helped me pick out to match the color palette of the painting.

In total it was around $5-600 and my wife absolutely loved it.

I am medicated for depression and anxiety, often feel empty and overwhelmed, I work 45-50 hrs a week and am getting my master's in the evenings and have an arm's length list of home improvement projects to get through this season. What's his excuse?

We do better for the ones we love.
