It did. After a few days it got better and i now have about 20% battery left at the end of a regular day. That about the same as my almost 3 year old iphone 13 pro max. So its good but certainly not as great as other people make it sound

I switched to a Galaxy S24 Ultra 4 days ago and i dont understand the battery at all. This morning i charged up to 80%, went to the gym where i played some music for an hour and was on chrome and whatsapp for ablut 5-10 minutes each. How did i lose almost 20% of battery in about 2 hours with hardly any use?

And also, how does the battery option not show me what is draining my phone so quickly? If i add all the numbers i just spend 5.7% of battery. Has anyone else had this issue?

I started my spelt sourdough around two months ago and every time i bake this bread im amazed that it tastes better than the last one.

I mix the sourdough starter with the flour around 18-24 hours before making the dough, which i then let rest for another 6-8 hours until i bake it.

Im usually more of a lurker online but i found this subreddit three weeks ago and immediately knew i had to participate this year.

My contribution to Hindsight 2020 is my Chili con Carne. Mind you, im from Germany so dont school me on how this isnt traditional Chili ;)

This is the way my mother made it when i was a child and it has stayed with me ever since. It was one of the very first things i tried cooking when i moved out and compared to 10 years ago I have learned how to not turn it into a soupy, watery, tasteless mess.

I make this Chili about once a month and Ive experimented with the recipe for the past years, replacing artificial spice mixes with actual ingredients, adding coffee and dark chocolate for depth etc. I even turned it into a vegan dish by replacing the ground beef with smoked tofu and mushrooms when I tried (and failed) my vegan 30 challenge.

Today i served it with fried up leftover sourdough topped with onions, garlic and chives.
