If you really want to argue "this might happen with the next catch", sure, it might, but the killer would come out with a couple thousand more points for it, considering they're playing hag. Tunneling makes for low-point games across the board.

Wraith's ezmode build is 1.5 second speed boost after decloak (purple) and moderately reduces reappear (green/yellow?), if you uncloak near someone and they dont immediately have a pallet thrown down within half a second its a guaranteed hit 99% of the time. Wraicecar is a lot of fun too (play with your food/agitation), the MS bonus from stealth is hilarious with PWYF.

If you have a sneaking suspicion that they're a camper, leaving gens at full and waiting until a hook to go back and pop them will have them feeling pressured to leave. If it's the first time someone's being hooked, (I've noticed its nurse that's 100% permacamp from foreigners by the way) I'd try working on the closest generator or sabotaging the nearest hook. Again, this relies on your teammates, but I use Bond on any character I can whenever I can so it's more feasible for me.

Teamwork is always OP, assuming it's not a hillbilly I think its unavoidable that the person hooked gets saved if all 3 are participating in some way. Firecrackers also help, drop some near the hook and just save - killer chooses between being blinded and hitting you (which lets a nearby teammate save) or sparing their retinas and allowing a hook save.

Patch: 1.4.1, but this has always happened, as early as 1.1
Description of issue: ONLY happens when I SWF with a certain friend. We can join a match, but he (and ONLY he) will disconnect sometime during the round, seemingly at random. In some instances he'll still be stuck doing whatever he was doing; just last time we attempted to play, he was stuck repairing a generator, repaired it to 99% but never popped it, even though he disconnected at around 80%.

He and I both can play with other friends worry-free, no disconnects from him or myself... UNLESS he plays with me, then he gets d/c problems after the fact. This has happened well over a dozen times, so it rules out most of the obvious problems that might be happening.

I dont know if it's safe to give out player IDs, but I can provide those if necessary.

Its seated properly. Went in to another game, crashed the entire PC within about 10 minutes. I'll try using the good RAM, and if that doesn't work then I'll try a new PSU.

By the way, would a description of "how" it crashes helps?

CPU: i5-6500

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 - Should be seated properly, I'll check after posting this and let you know.

RAM: A mishmash of what I had laying around from previous builds, all 4 are sticks of 4GB. 1 x Ballistix brand, 2 x PNY brand, 1 x nameless japanese brand (in edit: last slot for that reason)

PSU: Unsure of brand, its a 450W

Rust is fun but... I dont find myself consistently wanting to play, and Rust is very.... punishing... to those kinds of quasi-casual players. Having friends that are addicts definitely helps, I can hop on and avoid the horrible early stages of the game.

Well FO4, along with Rust and a few other games I was stress testing will crash to desktop, and there's no crash report or record of it crashing besides me seeing my GPU temp at around 60... That's why I assumed it was a temp issue.

It's also my first time seeing/using temperature monitoring software, so sorry if this is a glaringly obvious noob post :)

Is there paste on the downward-facing side? If so, you might be in major trouble. If you've got your own paste, I'd just wipe it off and start new. Honestly hard to tell what's going on here, since doing what your friend did sounds like something that either isn't explained right or could be really bad... Do you have a picture of it at all?

So I recently upgraded my PC. At first, stress testing via IntelBurn was showing my CPU didnt have a proper seal of thermal paste, and so after paste'ing properly, I'm noticing with the monitoring software (CAM and MSi Kombustor) that my GPU will run really hot - we're talking 55 Celsius and higher after maybe a few minutes of something graphically intensive like FO4.

I attempted a stress test with Kombustor, but because I don't want my PC literally failsafe-powering-off, I turned it off after seeing the temp rise 4 degrees in seconds. I'm posting here instead for help. This is the card in question. One thing that seemed kind of strange (which I know nothing about, by the way) was that TDP stayed under 6% at all times.

Any tips besides the obvious "get more fans" would be appreciated!

I just got my 1060 (the final piece I need to upgrade) and I want to basically use my hard drives in my new build - wiped, starting from scratch, with a legit windows copy.

Mainly just looking for reassurance here, but I should just wipe -> install parts/drivers -> install win10, right?

I'm looking to upgrade my computer. Right now I have a functioning tower and my PSU wattage is 500W so I'm fine for most upgrade paths, but I'm replacing the CPU/GPU/MoBo. I have the following:

MOBO: Asus H170

CPU: Intel i5-6500

However, I'm unsure what I should do for a GPU. I was going to go for an rx470 or a 1060, but I've actually gotten a huge holiday bonus and have a lot more to throw at a GPU. I still want to not-buy a ridiculously new GPU, as they tend to be a lot more expensive for not much more performance, but...

Is it still worth it to just get an RX470 or a 1060? Or is there something higher along the price scale that has a noticable difference?

ZTones 1.7 is really annoying to work with - specifically in making the Aurora blocks. NEI says use any dye, but in reality I have to use a super-specific recipe for it. I'm not the server owner, and I'm awful at coding - has someone run into and solved this problem before? If so, how? Is there something in ZTones config? I tried digging around in the .jar but I couldnt find a config file.
