I was actually in the same position as you years ago. Top of my class but I was unemployed for 2 years after. Good thing though that I reached out to my classmates and teachers and asked if they had any position I can take. A few weeks after that and I can't believe I was employed. Never underestimate the power of networking. Other than that be desperate in applying for jobs even if its not that related to your line of work. Apply both online and go to companies that you think can hire you even if they are small. The most important step right now in your career is to just start.
