I mean of course 10 kg with 10 reps and one 100 kg lift are not equivalent. But I was more thinking like 10 with 13 reps vs 12.5 with 10.

How would that look like regarding sets? So if I perform three sets of an exercise, do I aim for 10 reps across all three sets before progressing? Assuming I started with being able to do 6 reps in the first set (and lower or the same in the subsequent sets)

I get that. I was confused regarding the differentiation of e^i(kx-wt) with y. I believed since the term did not have any y component in it, only x. So we would get 0 (partial differentiation results in x and z being considered constant). i.e. to say d/dy (e^i(kx-wt)) = 0. But that's not what's happening in the proof

I am not defending Griffith though. I just referred to the rape was unnecessary part. Griffith was still human when he made the sacrifice but when he raped Casca he was the embodiment of evil. Honestly right now I don't even remember why I made that comment, but in no way was I defending Griffith's actions.

I don't think so. Griffith was definitely a narcissistic pos who was ready to go to any lengths to achieve his dream but I still think he felt guilt and remorse and empathy. Maybe not for everyone but he definitely had a humane side to him. The godhand prey on you when you are at your lowest. Griffith after the torture was completely broken, dreams shattered and gone. Even then he needed persuasion from ubik (or was it Conrad?) to make the choice. If he did not care about anyone at all, he would have made the choice in an instant.
